I think either NU or Hutch will represent the sec well. I for one want to see a good game no matter who wins. So many times you get two teams close in talent and the game is a bust. Goaltending may play a role but it may be a goaltender standing on his head you never know. I hope the kids come to play and give it all they have, Goodluck to both teams, Have fun out there!!!!!

Playing against New Ulm is like Driving in a family car trip from Minnesota to Texas,
Somewhere along the way someone is going to get upset.

So are you saying it's New Ulm's players or their fans?

you cant tell me that there isnt jaw jacking going on both ways, the only reason you think they are cocky is because they get the chance to be more often, hence the unbeaten streak. Get over the fact that you lost to them, and give them some credit for what they have the skills to do. Everyone gets cocky, nowadays thats just part of the game.

You may not like NU is that because they have been in the sec finals the last 2 years or because 1 or 2 players get under your skin when you play them. Almost every team I've ever played against has a player or 2 that gets under your skin but that does not mean I hated the whole team.

Its called dis-respect.
Starts at the top.
If you play against NU, you know what that means.
Watch any other game, and afterwards, you'll see players mingling, talking, respecting each other.
Doesn't happen after a NU game.
Not whining about it or expecting a change, because they won't.
It works for them. It's their choice. They enjoy it. Its gotten them far.
Just don't ask anyone else in the section to pull for them or respect them.
You won't get any, until you give some.

Edger sounds to me like you are whining I see players talk to players after almost all games I don't know what games you are watching. I also seen first hand NU players cheering for Litch last year at the state tourney. If thats not respect then I don't know what is.

Sorry if it comes off as whining, don't mean it that way.
I never once said anything that took away from what they accomplish ON THE ICE.
Everyone in the section knows they have been in the top 3 or 4 teams every year.
They play their arses off and I'll always respect them for that.

2. Edgar must have played new ulm first hand because his is exactly right..
3. Koolice--what are you talking about cheering for litch? who cares that isnt that much "respect" anyway I was talking about how the act on the ice..its absured---not trying to trash talk anyone by the way

i really don't know why everyone is talking about respect because it has nothing to do how a team plays. if they come to play then you cant complain. as i recall this game is about how you play and putting pucks in the net not how they "respect" the other team.

I agree...I think that not showing a lot of respect for other teams is the attitude u need to win games...new ulm may be cocky but that also gets into the other teams heads and that can pay off for new ulm. If your good then being a little cocky shouldnt matter. Its different if your team gets beat all the time and u still cock off.

Would you say the whole team is cocky, which i really don't think would matter if you win the games you play, or is it just a few kids that you strongly dislike?
