Great idea, Neutron!
Neutron should let Packerboy explain ALL of Neutron's posts!
Neutron may have heart…
Packerboy may have sense…
HS might be speaking in tongues…
Slappy may or may not have 2600 somewhat legible posts…
but its going to be another banner* year in 2007 for AP…
Happy New Year!

We hope AP does indeed have a banner year along with the great Catholic teams of 2007.
Things are a little slow right now but should pick up soon.
CDH will now go into the heavy part of the SEC schedule with back to back games against Roseville and Da Bears coming up.
HM has big games coming up against STA, BSM and AHA.
Its great that the Catholics play each other so they can have some competition.
I know AP is counting the hours until Jan 20.
But no matter what happens in Jan or Feb, the Catholics will March into St Paul and take home a banner or 2.
The season is already one third over for most teams. There is still a long way to go.
We will just have to wait. Wait until lent

One of elliott70's more readable posts. PB meant pooring as in slumming like Catholics do when they are the visiting team.

Thats the flaw with spellcheck.
As if I would use that anyway. Its like asking for directions.
But thanks elliott. I will try to improve my proper usage.
However, the members of the bored must be cautious about over emphasis on spelling, punctuation and usage as that kind of thing can spawn the creation of an allegory such as bluesbuddy.
His unparreled genius was released as a result of such nitpicking.
But even bluesbuddy didnt much like da Catlickers.
He didnt like Lent either.
But he always showed up for a cold one on Thursday between sessions.
We'll just have to wait until Lent to see him again.

Its no fun if you tell.
Besides, all we are doin here is tracking the Catholic teams through out the season.
This will continue until the tournament which occurs in March.
There are lots of threads that track teams. Moorhead has about 30 going at any given time.
The Great One has tracked an entire section in the now classics "Section 8 domination..a fact of modern life" and "Section 8....feelin great... on our way to taken state" copyright SS.
Here, we can track the rich, recruited Catholic teams that are hated by so many for their success and current domination of the Tournamnets held for us by our friends from Schwan and the MSHSL.
Here we can offer possible explanations for the success of our Catholic schools and their hockey teams other than the myopic view spewed forth by the phobics.
But who knows where it will go and how edgy it will get.
We'll have to wait until Lent to find out.

Pacboy just likes to remind us that Moorhead has not (ever, never) won a championship.
And in his humble opinion, they will not this year as the 'private' schools (read - Catholic) will prevail.
Some of us have disagreed taking the Moorhead Spuds or Cloquet Lumberjacks as the favorites come March (Lent).
And then there is the question of where Catholics (that is the church, not the individuals) have gone wrong (perhaps they have not read the Ko'ran, or do not know the Arabic language so they cannot properly translate it.)
But wait until Lent (and the Spuds first championship).

Packer, I pondered whether you were using 'poor' to reflect on us 'poor' heathens.
Now I have my answer.
I know 'ankles' referred to that usage in his post, but I tend to ignore him now that I know of his association with the 'Greater Pagans of the Top of the Duluth Hill'.
Spel chek???

For those who failed to pay attention at Crux Cath, Ash Wednesday is February 21 in 2007.
If you cannot take it from there, the Sisters now gone are rolling.

Packerboy welcomes those who favor Moorhead and Cloquet for the Lenten prize to state their case
As was clearly outlined in last year's Crusade, it is the fat cat, face in public trough, behemouth, pagan , Godless, suburban schools who whine about the Catholics success that invoke packerboy's ire.
We usually dont hear people from outstate whining that the Catholics have stolen all their players except for maybe a few Dulutherans but then all you have to say is "East" and that shuts them up.
It is the suburban pagans who remove religion from our schools and try to replace it with Kwanzaa and Ramadan or Ringading or whatever its called that whine the most. They just dont understand how these Catholic schools are doing it. "Oh ,I know, it must be because they cheat." They will say in desperation.
But which of our teams will get to the Holy City is still "Up for Grabs".
The pagans have thousands of students and billions of dollars in facilities all financed by taxpayers money.
The road to St Paul wll be filled with potholes.
The kind of potholes you only get around Lent time.

Thanks for the calender note elliott. Another date to note is March 8 which is the Thursday we will be at the Liffey between sessions.
It is fun.
In fact, here is a picture of some of the crowd from last year.
Sparlimb invited these fine lady's and they were the life of the party.

My son bought us tickets and I have arranged work (Thursday AM to Sunday night, I have off), so I too (with my non-alcoholic son), may be at the watering hole.
Easy to spot, one young, molded, handsome youth; and one not-so-young, molded like Jell-o, not so cute, mean son-of-a-bitch pagan.
But that will have to wait until Lent (or March 8th).
