so if centennial beats eagan and gets FPP, centennial gets 5 seed, elk river the 6, and ep the 7?

by private9
yes, 3 fights in the final 4 minutes. huge crowd, definitely keen for some violence, and they got it for a few scrums in the corners. so as for the seedings for regionals, how will the centennial, elk river, and ep situation look once its all said and done tonight?

standings

So I take it no ffp for ep. er did not get fpp against wayzata and centennial lost to eagan with no fpp.

I think standings are as follows:

EP - 48 (5th)
Centennial - 48 (6TH)
EP - 47 (assuming no fpp)

ER has tie breaker over Centennial. They also had tie breaker over EP, even if you guys did get your fpp. Looks like EP gets Centennail with winner facing Wayzata.

ep got FPP. so does that leave 3 teams with 48 points?

blueblood's unofficial standings

1 - wayzata (Congrats!)
2 - edina (great season)
3 - burnsville
4 - tonka
5 - er
6 - centennial
7 - ep
8 - lakeville
9 - blaine
10 - wbl
11 - eagan
12 thru 15 will be slp, c park, wessy and stillwater.

Note: Wessy played stillwater tonight. haven't seen any result and it will mix it the bottom four seeds.

Wow, 3 teams with 48. Here's the head to head results:

ER beat EP
Centennial beat EP
ER spilt with Centennial

I think EP ends up 7th and it looks like it comes down to h2h fpp's btwn ER and Centennial for 5th.

I'm with you 100% g15. I haven't been a fan of the elks all year and it's a virtual must win for us. I see your likely to take on wessy s good luck with that game and hopefully both of our squads can
fight there way to state

Teams I hope make state
lakeville
wayzeta
tonka
Edina
bville
ep

But we will see

Can someone confirm the tiebreaker rules? I see in the MH rules that it is head to head, then most wins, then fewest losses, then FPP.

Anyone?

How about
M1 Wayzata
M2 Edina
M3 Minnetonka
M4 Burnsville
M5 Eden Prairie
M6 Centennial

Not real impressed with Centennial to close out the year or Lakeville with some questionable losses. Saw them play each other, was a big disappointment. But Centennial beat EP 2x this year. Lost to Wayzata 2x. That would put them against WBL most likely. Should be able to handle them. EP should be able to handle Lakeville. Was the Tonka 6-1 win over Burnsville a fluke?

We have lost to ep twice this yr both by one goal in even games I never would say a team " should be able to handle" someone in playoffs

a. It's do or die seniors go home for good more emotion
b. It's been a close battled 1 goal game twice we will see

lakeville v. ep was close both times.

lakeville also nearly beat centennial just this past week i believe, with centennial tying the game up in the final minute.

anyone can win on any given night.

Burnsville and Tonka played a much closer game a couple weeks after in Duluth. I think it was tied 1-1 going into the 3rd and Tonka ended up winning either 2-1 or 3-1, I can't remember exactly. I don't think Tonka is 5 goals better than Burnsville. Burnsville beat Blaine 6-1 and then tied them a few weeks later. It's been a tough league to figure out this year!
