I think I am close on shots, good game and a few too many penalties for my taste,interrupted a otherwise good flowing game. Herm. 2 shorties.
Moundsview 5, Lakeville South 4- Teams looked a little tired
Little Falls 5, Anoka 2 - Little Falls was outshot but had more quality chances. L.F. tried to hand the game back to Anoka but could not capitalize on penalties and opportunities. Very good tourney for most teams as most games were competitive except STMA Games.

Blaine is on a bit of a roll with Coon Rapids having a some more big games over the next 10 days (2 vs Elk River) .

D10 is tightening up at the top.

Check Blaines schedule there's is not much better. They also face Elk River 1 more time. They lost to Cambridge earlier on and they face them again. You never know who shows up for Blaine...hot and cold. They have talent, but seems to be a inconsistent team

The 96 Fire were in the Hastings Tourney. I know they lost to Maple Grove 4-3, but I believe they also lost to Cottage Grove and ended up playing St. Francis/North Branch for fifth. Can anyone confirm this?

In the Hastings tournement the 96 Fire lost to Cottage Grove 4-3, lost to Maple Grove and beat Farmington in the 5th place game.

I was really suprised that they lost to CI.

Seems Blaine and ER always play tough no matter what their records. Both assoc have some good skaters in that age group.

Good goalie for Andover or bad shots?

Andover goalie was solid in the net, but give credit to Blaine for making him look even better. The goal that Andover gave up was one of a few rebounds given up by the goalie in which Blaine took advantage of. If Blaine would have created more rebounds by shooting lower they would of had more scoring opportunities. Alot of Blaines shots were glove saves. [/quote]
