Jefferson 3
Edina 2

Jefferson is overrated. The refs took the game away from edina. Edina dominated the whole time.

So on the score sheet should it say
Refs 3
Edina 2
Or should it be like every other game that the refs blow and say
Jefferson 3
Edina 2
I agree with you about the refs trust me. They were terrible. But it happens all the time to a lot of teams and I would bet Jefferson has had a game like that this year before.

[quote="Chuck Norris Fan"]A couple of average tourneys this last weekend, but some surprising scores from the week. We are getting to the end lets see how things shake out in the districts. Lets take a look at what we got. Just a note it was really hard for me to drop WBL out of the top 20. I know they are a good team but have just not shown it this year.
1. EP – Clear Cut #1
2. Duluth East – #2 no brainer
3. Centennial – Has really played well lately
4. Jefferson – Just Beat up Wayazata , Big matchup with Edina this week
5. Brainerd – Wins their own semi-soft tourney
6. Andover – Kicked around a little up north, Big game with Centennial Friday
7. Wayzata – Leading D3 but needs wins outside of that
8. Edina – Seems like things have smoothed over in Hornetville, Can they beat the Jags?
9. Mounds view – Tops of D2
10. Tartan – Battle to the end with Moundsview and the maybe the bears
11. Rochester North – #1 in District 8 no need to move them
12. Woodbury – #2 in District 8 Playing well
13. Osseo – 2nd in District 3
14. Lakeville South – Hard couple of games in Brainerd
15. Elk River – falling fast with some big L's last week
16. Eagan – #4 in District 8
17. Hermantown –
18. Blaine – tied the Elks
19. Grand Rapids – Better Showing in Brainerd
20. Cottage Grove - Coming on Strong, giving good teams fits
Seriously Moorhead has beaten Centenial Brainerd Andover Edina Osseo and Elk River they have only lost to Wayzata and they lost to lakeville south once and earlier in the season they beat them 8 to 1 and you do not even have on your lookin in list that is sad

You had better recheck your wins and loses.... Moorhead did NOT beat Elk River...
I saw the game it was a good game....

Moorhead, is having a tough year. In the begining of the year I had them ranked 5th to start the year. And then they started to drop and drop some more. I agree they have had some good victories. However they did not beat Centennial or Elk River as you stated, I also have to take some of the sting away from thier victory over Brainerd as it is a rivalry game. Rivary games are not as accurate in predicting a teams strength and they will play better against these teams. For instance Clouqet vs East, the Jacks have given East a hard time this year yet East is Easily #2 and the Jacks are not even near the top 20. I am sorry if you are offended that the Spuds aren't in the top 20, but they have to play better to earn that spot.

With the season coming to a close and district play almost over we will have some pretty good games that will be played to decide who is Number #1. Not a lot of movement this week but lets see what happens. The WBL tourney in two weeks has 1,2, and 3 all playing and should be a good post season preview. I can't wait.
1. EP – Clear Cut #1
2. Duluth East – #2
3. Centennial – Wins over Andover and Lakeville south solidify this team
4. Jefferson – Victory over Edina, Loss to Blaine
5. Brainerd – Beats Alex to take a stranglehold on District 15
6. Wayzata – Leading D3
7. Andover – Lost to Centennial and a Tie with Blaine
8. Edina – No victory over Jags, but leads District 6 (thanks fair play)
9. Mounds view – Tops of D2
10. Tartan – looking at a possible district title
11. Rochester North – #1 in District 8 victory over surging Ponies
12. Woodbury – #2 in District 8 Playing well
13. Osseo –
14. Lakeville South – lost Close game with Centennial
15. Blaine – Beats Jefferson and Ties Andover
16. Elk River –
17. Grand Rapids – Getting better at the right time
18. Hermantown – Dumps one to Grand Rapids
19. Eagan – #4 in District 8
20. Cottage Grove - Coming on Strong, giving good teams fits
Outside looking in: (in this order as per their showing)
Stillwater –
White Bear Lake – injuries hurt an already down team
Burnsville -
Chaska –
Maple Grove –
St. Cloud –
East Grand -
Apple Valley

If u r such an outstanding observer what have they done to make them be put down?? seems to me that they have done alot to earn that spot in the rankings and are keeping themselves there by being consistant with some good wins.

10. Tartan – looking at a possible district title
Still have 2 games vs. stillwater which should be interesting because from what I have seen stillwater has been playing well lately.
Plus fair play will be huge in the end for them.

MHJ Rankings

Why the heck does MHJ have Edina at the 2 spot?! Only beating Shakopee 3-0 should automatically put you out of the top 10 for sure.

Swap Jefferson with Edina for sure in that MHJ ranking. Jefferson beat them 3-2 therefore deserve to be ranked ahead of Edina for now.

Jefferson should be ahead of them but just because they only beat shakopee 3-0 doesnt mean they should be put way lower or out of top 10. its still a win and thats all that matters. you cant put a team down for winning....a team could be undefeated on 1-0 wins and no ties and win state but they wouldnt be #1 because they had close games to bad teams but still beat em?

alex is a pretty good team by the way but u might want to think about some more like moorhead centennial st. cloud hermantown Grand rapids.. or all those teams just average and not that good?

If you look at The district 6 website it showes that Edina is ahead of Ep in the standings when Ep has not lost a district game, The reason Edina is ahead of Ep is the fair playpoint, what do you think about that?
