who won the Edina Bantam a tourney?
Edina beat Wayzata 3-2. Shots were even. Really tough battle for both teams

Edina came back from a 2-0 deficit. The goalie for Edina made some nice saves but I thought Edina looked like the better team tonight. These two teams seem to match up very well and make for a fun game to watch.

Wayzata was missing their best defenseman Dj Jones, does anyone know why?

Jones got hurt in Wayzata's first game of the tournament against Duluth East and did not play the rest of the weekend.

I stopped by and saw the Hibbing-Grand Rapids game. GR barely beat an average Hibbing team, I was not impressed. The Hibbing goalie had a great game though.

Grand Rapids struggled for the fll 45 minutes for the first time in a long time. It wasn't anywhere near their best game. Sometimes in hockey you need to give the other team credit, and this is one of those times. Hibbing grinded extremely hard and made Rapids look poor for most of the game. Great teams find ways to win games like that and Grand Rapids did just that.

chaska beat hastings in a double overtime. 14 skater shoot out in the ssp tourny. chaska only had 13 guys so they got to shoot their best player again and he scored for the win

No, actually, every one of our players shot exactly one time. We have 14 players currently and no one shot twice. But our goalie was amazing the whole tournament, especially in the shootouts. We lost in the shootout today 2-1 to River Heights after a tie score of 4-4 through regulation and 2 overtime periods (including one being 4 on 4).

not that it matters, but the score of the New Ulm-Dodge County game was 7-6..theyre pretty evenly matched if you ask me. New Ulm takes better advantage of the opportunities they get.

Boblee,

Remember, the most important game of the year, is the first game of playoffs. Tough to lose but better to learn. Even Eden Prairie hasn't won them all. I have seen them play twice now and they will be just fine come playoff time.

I hope you are right. The offense seems to be way to spurt-like for Rapids. They score six goals for four straight games and then score 4 in the next 4...
