Hf will give Blake a run, but Blake has too much speed for HF to handle and the HF goalie is shaky at best. Look for a Breck beating Blake Final.

Doesnt Blake play Richfield first?

Richfield ?

Josh Birkholz could beat Richfield all by himself!
I'm sure Blake is not worried about what the mighty SPARTANS have to offer!
Breck might also be having nightmares about STMA, NOT!
Should be a couple barn burners at Parade tonight.

While he probably could, its a team game, and the team has lost a couple of head scratchers, as has Breck. Thats what makes this so fun!

My prediction;

Blake wins by 4 and Breck by 3.

My predictions

Holy Family- 4
Blake- 5
in o.t.
Holy Family will come very close to an upset (I'm guessing a disallowed goal in o.t. for H.F. leads to a Blake win)

Breck- 5
Mound- 2

Neson hasn't played well lately...

Blake 7
HF 2

Breck 10
Mound 3
yes, 10-3. If an average Orono team can score 9* goals on mound, breck will score 10+. Nelson has been absolutely awful as of late, and he is lucky they waved off 4 goals against orono. The high sticking waved off goal against orono is the only one that should have been waved off.

I think Breck will win and hope to see a Blake/Breck rematch, but Mound is to good to be blown out. I'd say 5-3 Breck.

The Blake fwds better keep their heads up Tuesday night. HF's Earls pummelled a couple of Providence kids who tried to break out of the zone with their heads down or looking back. I'm not saying the hits were dirty they were about as hard a hits as I've seen and that's all he's really looking to do on the ice. Especially early in the game.

Be warned!

You keep trashing STMA. You were cleary smoked on the winning goal and had no chance. If you would like to see it for yourself, you can visit Channel 5 sportswrap page and watch Sportswrap online about the middle of the page. Just wait and it will start playing for you. Slide the play arrow over to about 14:30 and watch from there. YOU HAD NO CHANCE!

http://kstp.com/article/78//

And STMA played a great game against an exceptional team in Breck. They do have some players with talent on the team that can score. It was 3-2 1/4 of the way through the 3rd until STMA flat out ran out of gas and against a team like Breck, they will make you pay. I wish Breck and the rest of the teams that are still alive good luck in the rest of their sectional play. And I hope whoever comes out of the section, represents section 2A well at state.
I dont understand... was that a diss at me?

i thought it was a diss, your dissing how bad STMA is and you got 5 goals scored against you by the Knights. you just jumped out of the net and didn't have a shot of making the save.

I personally thought Breck was the best team on the ice last night. Blake is very lucky to get by Holy Family. I thought Holy Family was the better team throughout three periods of hockey. However, Holy Family began to look scared and tired in the third period.

Scenarion-1:50 left in the game and Holy Family begins a power play (which was really bad throughout the game). They pulled the goalie with about 1:30 left in the game for a 6 on 4 advantage. My question is, why was #10 not one of the 6 on the ice?

He had the strongest shot out of anyone out there and he would have been a perfect kid to put in front of the net to cause comotion. I didnt understand this decision.

Blake needs to play better if they think they are going to beat Breck. Breck looked extremely good, especially their depth. I have heard a lot of chatter about #6 from Breck, some defenseman. I think someone was comparing him to some of the best in the state and that he unfortunately gets overlooked. Here is my assessment of the kid, he is average at best. Yes, he did have a couple of assists but he never stood out in my eyes. Breck players that did stand out were #8, #21, and #23. I never saw #6 do anything special.
