anoka was overrated... i'm glad ER took it to them and finally showed everyone they aren't as good as everyone says they are

I only thought boblee quoted himself....

I had to turn the volume down on the TV because of Sarslund in the background.

Saw the game on T.V. last night. Don't know if it was an off night for Anoka. However, I was not impressed with their team.

Did you ever notice that the Elk River breakout primarily involves a D man flipping the puck in the air and letting the forwards find it? Can't argue with Sarsland's success. Unusual breakout.

IMO Anoka was pretty much out played...other then the 1st few minutes of the game...
ER's D was rock solid and I thought made it pretty easy for Siebert to have a good game...
I will say that the refs almost really blew that call on the Anoka goal, and although I hate when they conference and change their minds it was the right call, other then that very few penalties called...which I thought was suprising.
ER's forecheck was relentless....
Nice road win.

Pretty sure it was Martell, Brodag, and #12 think that's Rogers not sure.

Elks Scoring:
Brandon Brodhag 1G, 1A
Brandon Martell 1G
Cory Volk 1G
Kenny Anderson 1A
Chris Pullar 1A

Btw, following ER's win and Centennial beating Blaine last night the NWSC is almost "Up For Grabs" among the Top 3
