I get that MO about win # 3. OOps- I mean game three. I'll take the worriers by 2.

I like the name 'CHOPS' hope he hacks some more in the net. Dontcha think CLoquet should be very afraid of that top line NHL06?

Game three WILL be won be the boys from Brainerd :D .......CEC fans watch out for the first line, #5 Freeman is the most unknown/underrated player in the section, he is a phenominal two way player. Who gives it his all every second on the ice. With back to back game winners against Blaine and STA, him, along with the rest of first line, Chops (#28) and Swab (Tyler Swaboda #13) are on fire as of late! Not too mention Joey Frazier and the "2nd" line (really just line 1B) who have consistently put up goals this year. CEC better come prepared when 1/2 comes rolling around next tuesday!

Snider was great in net all weekend, look for that to continue!

HMM well excluding the third period faceoff against Fergus Falls, the Freeman, Chops, Swab line (5, 28, 13) have started every period for the warriors. Thus, making THEM 1A and the Frazer line 1B

Who has the credit??

I am going with the Barnyard in a 3-2 thriller. They are on a roll from knocking off the cidiot cadets and subsequently getting the goalies goat to boot. Look for a tight game with Tyler Johnson clanging the post on a break away or two. The long lay off for the pulp peelers from Cloquet may be just enough for the pulp peelers form the Barnyard to pull the proverbial upset. Nice early January matchup with big time 7AA stakes, 4 pointer I do believe (have yet to check schedules).

Hova wrote:With Ellingson a little rusty after the long Christmas break and Snider coming off an impressive showing vs. STA (hopefully), Snider saves the Warriors a couple of times and keeps the game close. In ther third period, Sam Holland (aka Chops) nets a goal third period to tie the game at 2. The Warriors score on a powerplay in OT subsequently devistating the town of Cloquet and turning section7AA upside down.
After Thursday's game (vs. STA) I am liking my prediction alot more.

Coming from you Hova, I find that the least bit offensive!

Hey Hova, the Jan 2nd game will mark your exact one month anniversary of you knowing hockey even existed!

Does anyone out there know of a radio station carrying this game via an internet feed?
WKLK out of Cloquet isnt quite up to speed on that technology yet.

I may as well throw in my prediction for this one while I'm out here. Brainderd has always played Cloquet tough. It worries me a bit that the Jacks have been off for a while. They will definitely have to come out flying in this one to have a chance of winning. Brainerd knows they can play with anyone in the state, but I still have to pull for my old hometown. I think Ellingson plays out of his mind and Cloquet wins this game 3-1 (ENG in the end)

Me and Hova had a little falling out after the SLUUUUUUUUURPP comment he made earlier.....Lets just say "we are on a break".....OH YEA Coach Urbanek*****

Back to hockey....Brainerd's first line is extremely underrated when it comes to top lines in the section....not saying they are one of them on talent standards...but they can compete with any other line, it will be a great test on 1/2

In addtition, Brainerd's second line (or 1B as nhl06 calls it, which is very true) has put up some great numbers this year. The line consists of three juniors: #6 Frazer, #8 Engel and #26 Shepherd. So far this year they have put up 26 points (10 goals). With this one-two punch, Brainerd will keep the pressure on Cloquet's defense and Ellingson throughout the whole game. Hopefully Cloquet remembers how to play hockey after their week and a half break :D .

wait until......

Just think how funky it will be when they start going in for #26! That will knock all the pins down come seeding time.

The person shouting "Ernie, you 'da man!" at the final showdown between McCracken and Munson, is Will Ferrell.
