Rapids could come out of the north. very complete all around team. Forwards, defense, and goaltending. wouldn't be suprised.

i think brainerd moorhead or grand rapids comes out of the north. roseau is overrated because of a good team last year

The North should boil down to those 3 teams. It would be nice to GR and Brainerd meet in the championship of the Brainerd tourney to see how the teams compare. The solid and complete GR team that we're hearing about couldn't choke in 2 tourney's in a row could they?

North region should be between
Bemidji, Roseau and Grand Rapids, Brainerd.

Moorhead, (Crookston or Warroad or East Grand Forks) - outside chance.

Probably not Virginia, Hibbing, Int'l. Falls

My gusess on the teams participating
Bemidji *
Roseau *
East Grand Forks
Grand Rapids *
Virginia
Hibbing
Moorhead
Brainerd *

* Which ever of these two are on top of their game at that time of the year will go to state.
Depending on the bracketing (where East and EP are), they could end up in second or third or consolation champion.

Why would you not have Crookston in your picks.
They seam to be a contender, Three less games have been played and only 2 points behind Bemidji with no losses?

Minnesota Hockey
District 16
Bantam A GP-- Win --Loss-- Tie --FP Points
Bemidji ----- 8 --- 4 --- 3 --- 1 --- 5 - -- 14
Crookston -- 5 --- 4 --- 0 --- 1 --- 3 --- 12
Warroad ---- 7 --- 3 --- 4 --- 0 --- 4 --- 10
Roseau ----- 5 --- 3 --- 2 - 0 --- 4 --- 10
East Grand Forks - 3 --- 2 --- 1 - - 0 -- 2 -- 6
Lake Of The Woods - 5 -- 1 -- 4 -- 0 -- 4 - 6
Thief River Falls - 5 -- 1 -- 4 --- 0 -- 2 -- 4

in D16 Warroad and Bemidji have beaten Roseau and East Grand Forks may be the third best team in the distrct

im possotive that roseau hasn't lost to warroad the first game was close 6-5 in over time but roseau won the second was roseau winning was like 9-1 and the third was 8 to 3..

Crookston should be considered in D16 with Roseau and Bemidji.
D 15 Brainerd and Moorhead
IR Grand Rapids is the favorite.

crookston

from what ive seen of crookston, they have a great goaltender, and one amazing forward that stand out (#21), and i think thats why they win. against lakeville south i think #21 had a goal and 2 assists in a 4-3 losing effort

North will be interesting.

Brainerd and Grand Rapids look like the two at the moment, but Alexandria and Moorhead pose a threat in D15, and Roseau, Crookston, and Bemidji in D16.

Crookston is a very good team.

But have a very short bench. So in districts / regions with a lot of games in a short period of time against teams with more lines (depth) they may get wore out or have an illness or injury that could take them out of contention.

In 16 I have to go with Roseau, Bemidji, Warroad, or East Grand Forks as the champion. But Crookston has a good shot at geting to regions with 3 teams advancing, but with 10 skaters it is more difficult.
