Curt Slax wrote:Uh, hey everyone. I guess you could say I'm new here. My name's Curt Slax and I'm from Cottage Grove. Personally, I think Chuck Flatlander, from Como, is the best 2nd year in MN. He is way underrated, and many of you probably have not heard of him. But I say he's going pro when he's a junior in High School.

Tyler Brackey from Albert Lea. Big, strong, movves the puck well. He could easily play high school hockey.

In my opinion, after watching the Edina Bantam Team play in a few tournaments this year, he would have been better off and developed quicker playing against older kids - better competition, more talented players and a faster paced game.

Maybe his Bantam coach said he would develop just as much playing another year of bantams vs. playing against the high school players. Can't say I would agree as the the Bantam level is down compared to previous years.
He is not a high school level player.

Woody22 - Maybe you should ask the Edina HS Coach if Taft is a high school level player. Heard a rumor back during tryouts that he made the team. If this rumor is wrong please set the rumor mill straight?

At this stage I'm sure it doesn't matter as he is definitely playing with his friends on the Edina Bantam Team.

How can one disagree, boblee is the best. If you look around the state of hockey you'll see quite a few very good Bantam players, from first years to second years and even third years. Maybe this is a good time to close out this post. RIP!
