all i can say is attitude reflects leadership. Almost 100% of the things you've heard out of the Johnson group has to do with leadership.

I know who you are, and you know who I am, and this needs to stop. Most of these guys are just trying to get you rilled up. I think from now on, you guys need to post how many years you are coaching and who you coach for now just to keep this stuff clean. If you guys aren't playing the game, let it be to the kids. Do your job, and be done with it.
If you have any questions, call me. If you lost my number, I'll send it to your email at school again.
I'd like to know

Are you calling Moose out? Everyone knows that he is the leader of Johnson Hockey, And if you don't you better look around your organization.

District 6 is going to come down to Apple Valley, Minnetonka, and Chaska. Edina's got nothin this year., EP will have one of thier worst Pee-Wee teams in years but great coaching...who knows? Both Tonka and Chaska return 4-5 players and both teams were in the B1 State Championship game last year (Chaska won 3-1). Each team wil, have the core players off those teams this year. Chaska will score alot of goals with Traina, Kelly, and Doerring. Tonka will have 2 returning A players that are very good (Prochno and Coatta). Apple Valley will have the best player in the district returning ( Michaelson). Chaska was very fortunate in picking up one of Minnetonka,s best coaches too...those games will be battles this year. My edge goes to Tonka (better goaltending) with Apple Valley in the number 2 spot and Chaska and Burnsville right behind them. But no one will get by Eagan and Wayzata this year.

Edina has nothing? It's a rare year when that can be said. what makes you say that?

Ask anyone there..this is a down year for Edina. They have one really good player in Nanne but the rest of them are very average. They will be competitive just not in the top of the district at all.

buddah is mostly right. I think there is more than just Nanne in Edina this year, but not enough more to make a difference. FYI skate, the Edina first yr's, the squirt A's, scrimmaged the second yr's over the weekend and were soundly beaten by the average second yrs.. I didn't see the game, but I heard it wasn't much of a contest. While those kids will be really good next year, they are not going to dominate the A level this year. That's my tryout news.

Park Storm - good for minneapolis hockey?
How is the structured work out?
I heard there were some combinations this year, could you explain it please...

I think the basic idea is that there were two groups of kids living in the same area, but playing in different districts. They could join together and get more out of playing with a bigger team, better schedule, ect...
I think it will be good for them and I think St. Paul is next. Although Como Johnson and Highland all seem to have good (not great) numbers for now.

Hey Gildan,
Como will never give in to that, This year our board even wants to go with two "B" Pee Wee teams and no "A" Pee Wee and I think the wool has been pulled over the directors eyes and he might agree. Now the "B" coach at Johnson has two of our teams to worry about. Rumor had it that the "B" coach at Johnson was going to become president of District 1. Well we might not have gotten away with two "B" Pee Wee teams if he would have taken it.

Tuna,
I don't know where you have gotten your information, but the current Dist Director is from como. You should talk to your people and I'll talk to my people and we'll talk about our people.
As for that "B" coach being the next Prestident, NEVER going to happen. The people at the district level are too smart for that. Now, I did hear that he was going to be the next VP. But you don't really do anything for that job anyway.

If Como (or any association) has 2 level B1 teams, is it true that those teams are suppose to be choosen on an equal basis.
Being that District 1 does not have a B2 level, then, IF Como chooses to go with 2 B level teams, then those teams should be close to equal, correct?
In otherwords, not the best 1-15, then the next 16-30 on the "other" B team.

The last I heard is Como is having a "A" Pee Wee team, At least I scheduled 2 league games with them. I don't know if I ever heard of an association having two "B" teams and no "A".

Its good to see you guys again.
I found my way back to the area and love to hear about whats going on. But didn't we have this conversation last year???????

I think this discussion is going on in another thread.
I would like to know the same thing hockeymom asked, isn't this the same thing you guys were talking about last year?
If they pick two even teams, they are B teams, NOT A teams

by TyrellFashizo
I don't know why I even read this stuff.
All you guys do is rip me anyway, but I can't help but stick up for the Como area when they need to make a choice about these kids that will keep the majority happy.
If they pick two equal teams, then they will most likey be B teams. If they pick an A team and a B team and go with it, then they will have to play at those levels. Either way, I say bring this talk over the that other topic thats going on about this issue.

Well like in the past we will make that determination not some District guy.
At the scheduling meeting he was trying to throw his weight around but we will decide not him or anyone else. I ain't smokin no peace pipe.

Actually, the District Director does have the power to make that decision.

We have a new District 1 Person and I know he will make the decision he deems fit for the situation.
