Macloud doesnt have to b a dominate factor for Virginia, simply has to b average. great fire power with just an average goalie. I still think Hibbing vs Hermantown finals again.

i think hibbing would be fine without davis because decenzo is still there......he (davis) didn't have a good year but if he works hard this summer he could be a factor

ya, he seems to have skill. virginia needs a goalie to b a big contendor, hermantown wont b nearly as deep

hawks will have the upper hand but i still think it will be a good race from the top four.there will be some good grade A games

well said, I dont see anyone besides Virginia's top line scoring, Hermantown needs a scorer for Leblanc. Hibbings deep, Falls has Youso,Hjelle

Hibbing will be just as well off without davis in my opinion, word is davis is moving cuz the coach doesnt like him? who knows. He tried out for a midget team in Michigan and made 2nd alternate, if a spot does not open up word is he is going to denfeld ( probably because of the denfeld coahc- great guy-) ANYWAYS, hibbing is my pick to go to state this year, being led by Kapella and the coaches own, decenzo. Those two should be unstoppable

i dissagree there is no way that hibbing will going to state next year two players can not do it all by there lonsome there going to need a deaper line up to be a contender

Virginia and Hermantowns 2nd lines will suck too so it comes down to goaltending and D.

Hawks

Easy now section7

The Hawks will no doubt have a powerful 1st line with LeBlanc and probably Schmidt. But there are a couple more talented kids on this team who you didn't really get to see last year because of all the seniors.
By no means will it be a 3 and 4 line attack like last year, but expect to see two solid lines at least.
Huttel and Lonetto should lead a decent defensive squad.
Hardy between the pipes is a definate plus

The team will not be as deep as last year, but I am not ready to concede the section yet
Expect a dogfight and I predict a school with the initials of HHS will go to St Paul next March

Hawkfan, i agree this yr it will go to a HHS. Virginia wont b nearly as deep, theyll need bantam or JV talent to step in which they dont have. Their JV was terrible and bantams failed to get out of the district again
