Watch of Bennie Walker of Edina and Eric Freschi of Jefferson. Much has been written about them on this chat board. Don't doubt them because of their size. They are the Mugsy Bogues and Spud Webb of hockey -- only they have more talent for their peer group than those two did for theirs.

slapnthepuck,

Do yourself a favor and quit putting stupid posts up...it's embarrassing when you show your lack of intelligence. Mattson has a lot of skills with one of his strongest being his ability to see the whole sheet of ice for passing.

Making the jump to H.S. is tough for any 9th grader but he's got a decent shot because he was one of the strongest 1st year defensemen this year and he works harder than most players.

I think the top players will be those that made the advanced 15 rosters and will be returning.

I am mostly familiar with D10. I think that Lovick and Aus from Centennial, Jensen, Tufte, and Harper from Blaine were 1st year Bantams that made the D10 roster.

List any other 1st year Bantams that made advanced 15's by district.

The top two players for DE will be forward Kenny Mellin and defensemen Derek Forbort.
Plus they will have one of, if not the best goalie in the state as Matt Cooper returns for another year of bantams.

I never hear much about out state kids - besides the few listed, how are some of the up north returning bantams? Forwards, D, and Goalies?
