I have seen Jenna Christensen skate. I play with Jenna and your right she's fast and she usually knows where the puck is going. Great player

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... Ozzie89 at: 11/24/05 9:59 pm

I know she's been noted on several occasions previously, I'm just going to reiterate Callie Dahl of Stillwater area. I haven't seen them all of course but she's definitely one of the top players in this class IMO. Seems to be picking up right where she left off last season. Quite possibly the teams leader after #14 graduates.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... ookyone at: 12/4/05 8:59 pm

I would pick Lisa Berreman - defender from Eagan. Big, strong, good skater and has great shot.

Agreed. I saw her too many times in youth hockey games! With Lisa Berreman and goalie Alyssa Grogan, those were tough U12 and U14 teams. They should be a solid foundation for Eagan the next couple of years.

Michelle Lunneborg from Richfield should be mentioned. She skates well, sees the ice and has some size.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

How could you forget about Molly Arola? 28 points, third on her team behind Erickson and Newton. She just came to the grg district this year. She's playing on a new team and look how good she is doing. She didn't know the players very well and she still clicked with them on the ice, that's what you want when your picking an all-star team. She's really quick on her feet, amazing stick handeling! Just a good all around player.

Sam downey from silverbay. She plays just like her brother Jesse and he is now playing for UMass. Also, Biz Huss from silver bay if she losses her attitude. I've reffed and watch her play for a long time and she have a give me the puck or else attitude

Any others that we should add to this list and/or any standout performances this season by kids in this group listed above, etc.?

9th grader

Alyssa Weise from Rochester Mayo, 9th grade forward hasn't played regular shifts every game because of talented and older 6 forwards from Mayo/Lourdes. In the ice time she gets, she's scored 8 goals, 9 assists including a hat trick against Faribault and a goal and assist against Blake. She'll see probably 2-3 shifts a period at the state tourney this week, then with one forward graduating, Alyssa will see lots of ice time next year.

Watch Dahl, #8 for Stillwater at the state tournament.

C Dahl

From what I've seen, Callie Dahl is the best 9th grade forward out there.

I would agree with her goal scoring ability and finding open ice in the offensive zone. I would also like to see how she plays in the defensive zone to conclude that she is the best.

Olson from Fairmont. Another post indicated that she had scored over 60% OF THE Points for her team this year.
