There's video of him giving the double birds to the STA student section.
Are you surprised, Spar??? I for one, am not. Can't put a label on all of the kids, but not surprised by that move. When you haven't been there before whaddya expect. Heat of the moment, sure. Shouldn't define the kid but I hope someone had a talk with him. Am sure the STA student section was relentless though.Sparlimb wrote: ↑Wed Feb 25, 2026 3:34 pmThere's video of him giving the double birds to the STA student section.
I'd say in the 80 and early 90's, the HM-WBL rivalry went like that. Then by the late 90's early 2000's, guys hugged each other and wished them good luck at state after the games. Kid was happy, of course, but play with class.
No not surprised at all. You nailed it. Some teams have been there before and act like it. Goalie for Edina isn't going to do that, win or lose. And they are kids, prone to do stupid stuff. I know I did back then.headsupsticksdown wrote: ↑Wed Feb 25, 2026 3:46 pmAre you surprised, Spar??? I for one, am not. Can't put a label on all of the kids, but not surprised by that move. Whoops, don't have to worry about a Rosemount vs Hill game anymore...
