This hasn't been a good HM team. The fact they could clock in at the 3 seed (beat STA twice) is insane. Got to win tomorrow though...

I think Edina’s overall strength of schedule will give them the 1, but I don’t think it would be a travesty if they were flipped….

Agreed. And while this game is (nearly) always a dog fight, as crazy as it sounds, it's even more even money than usual.

So , if favorites HM and STA win tonite ( by no means either guaranteed) :

Edina will random draw Elk , GR or Roch
Chan will random draw Elk , GR or Roch
HM will draw random Elk , GR or Roch
STA and Cent will play the 4/5 game

First time participant Chan would benefit most from drawing
RCJM

The most dangerous of the unseededs is probably GR

The more I look at this, the muddled it seems beyond 1 & 2, other than C/JM being a random draw. And if Cre-TINE (hat tip to Bro Francis) or White Bear win, it gets worse.

If both STA & HM win

5. STA/Grand Rapids

Random: Centennial, ER, Rochester Century/JM

Rapids w the H2H win over STA could put them above STA, or I could see them being flipped.

Rapids will be no lower than 5. GR is 2-0 vs Andover (Centennial 0-1-1), 1-0 vs Maple Grove (Centennial 1-1), 2-0 vs Duluth East (Centennial 1-0) 1-0 vs Elk River (Centennial 0-1), 0-1 vs Wayzata (Centennial 0-1), 0-1 vs WBL (Centennial 1-0), 1-0 vs STA (Centennial 0-1), 0-1 vs Hermantown (Centennial 0-1). So since they didn't play, common opponents has GR 7-3 and Centennial 3-6-1.
