Curiously Cole Bumgarner not listed as having a team yet... However, from High Heat & bardown27, who have always shared great info, sounds like he is at Rogers next winter.

The Bumgarner family has already sold their house in Prior Lake and are moving to Rogers

Hearing Stewart , Reed and Smithknecht have made their respective USHL rosters following spring camps . Final fall rosters are always more difficult, and things can change . I guess will consider them all before and after players , unless any home HS team forum reps have definitive info to the contrary that can be shared at appropriate time ,

Rombach has made his Lincoln roster

Dunno if it's true or not, but I hear the mass exodus is indeed on in EP. Rumors are that two players have both made their USHL rosters and won't be back--following in the footsteps of Earl transferring out to Chan. I've posted about it before in regards to rumblings from within about players not being happy going back almost immediately to when the season started, but if true all I can say is wow. ? If true, you better update those preseason rankings as I don't see EP being relevant for at least 3 years.

Am I seeing it right that there were only 3 kids drafted in the NHL draft that played high school this year?

In addition, not that it would affect the HS team THIS season, but I believe 2 of their top 1st year Bantam AA kids from last year (who would be 2nd year this year) are going elsewhere this season. This is in addition to one of their top Pee Wee AA players from last year, who would be a Bantam this upcoming year, leaving EP.

I believe their #’s are starting to climb again hockeywise at younger levels, but EP may be 4th/5th/6th fiddle in the section for a good chunk of the upcoming years….

If we’re talking about the same kids, yes both whom are BA kids are going elsewhere this season. One to SSM and one to HF so I hear.

The PWAA kid was always a one season rental. Despite there being benefit to staying in community and MN hockey in general they seem to be caught up in the T1 lifestyle. To each their own.

Kid can absolutely fly. HS hockey is better with him in it!

May not be the right thread , but CCHA alum SF Power goalie Caleb Heil had a huge Nat Camp and will go on to Hlinka Gretzky Trny . Hearing he will then remain at SF and roster with Stampede , likely to get at least some game time this year and possibly more . Caleb would have been a huge addition to any MSHSL contender had he chosen that route and became eligible .

I was wondering about Brock Shultz from EGF.
I believe he was on the HSEL last year for Sanford and I believe their leading scorer.
