Think I'll put a $150 price on a good wooden stick and I believe all the "players" would really think it is good. Take a look in the stick rack next time. There are some very high quality wood composite sticks suitable for all players in highschool and lower. Save your money and put your ego in your hockey bag. <p></p><i></i>

I've bought the Wood\Composite sticks before for my son and it lasted about two weeks. The shaft was fine, the graphite blade broke. 30.00 every couple weeks isn't the way to go either.<br><br>We just bought a Christian Torch with a toe curve and my son just loves it.<br><br>Every composite stick or shaft that he has broken was the result of taking a one-timer. If you watch a College or Pro game, I think you'll find that over 80% of broken sticks occur when a one-timer is taken. The last College game I caught on TV had 5 broken sticks and all of them from one-timers. <p></p><i></i>

If you want a stick you have to go back in time and get the original synergy. ive never had a more reliable stick at any time in my hockey career, the only one that held up half as long was the L-2 and ive heard of people having bad luck with that. <p></p><i></i>

The Bauer Vapors have really been holding there own up here at UMD, a couple peole are using them, and they are having very few problems with them, however the Sherwood old wood sticks are still the best (Good old feather lites)<br> <p></p><i></i>

Also if no ones read up on sticks, composites really aren't built to last any longer than an average wood stick. It will just inprove performance and the blade wont split as easy so you dont lose shot velocity over time. <p></p><i></i>

alot of these sticks are very good. But I have a Bauer 6 stickum which is okay. But surprisingly the Koho Revolution composite.(not the wood one) is very light. Jagr curve is pretty good on it. <p></p><i></i>

The new Synergy sticks have been very popular in my opinion. <br><br>Also, I saw a graphite goal stick (Reebok I believe). It was about $225 and I don't know if those will go over to well.... <p></p><i></i>

THe best stick ever is the si-core 75 flex with an Iginla/Modano curve. (preferably Iginla) And KOdiakChew what are you talking about with the si core.<br><br>"The Si-Core in my opinion is the worst stick on the planet. Regardless of the price you pay, one piece composite shafts will break. Last season I used the VaporXXX and was really impressed. Although i broke it early, and took a extremely long time to get back from warranty, the feel of the stick is amazing. CCM Vector, Vapor XX and XXX, Easton Si-core/SL,Synergy are all in the same price range and are all great sticks. <p></p><i></i>

Yea I like the synthesis also I used synergy one peices for past two years and now im usin a synthesis it last longer and doesnt end up like a rubberband after two shots. <p></p><i></i>

Mission L2 is a composite stick, but has a replacable blade, and also come w/ a back-up blade. It is priced about the same as any other average composite stick. I've had mine since mid-season last season, all summer, and the 1st blade just broke about 3 weeks ago or so. They are a tough and sweet stick. I recommend the Hull curve. <p></p><i></i>

RBK and Synergy SL's break a lot more often than vapor XXXs. If you are using one of those two sticks you'll go through one a week. <p></p><i></i>

I have heard from many people that I play with and talk to that say the Si-Core had no feel to it at all. I know a kid who got one, used it for a week, and went to get a new different stick because it was so bad. I personally have never used. On a side note, why would they discontinue it if it was a such a great stick...? <p></p><i></i>

I heard from an Easton representative at the expo last year something like it costed so much more to make them that they werent making as much profit off of them as they were from normal synergies or the new SLs STs and Stealths. It was all about Easton making a larger profit. <p></p><i></i>
