Shots 30 to 20 favoring MG, but they simply couldn’t finish their chances. An important bounce back win for the Bengals following a tepid showing in their Holiday tourney.
The score was very different and how the game was played, although MG's forecheck was stifling at times and they controlled a good part of the game, Blaine had better scoring chances and took advantage of those shots. MG gave up the long stretch passes and Blaine took advantage of that with a few break aways. MG gots to figure something out if there to stay in the top 10.

Irondale beating White Bear Lake 4-1 is a total shocker. Great job, guys. Something to remember forever.
Biggest program win since they took down Blaine a couple years ago. Roster isn't deep enough to challenge consistently, but with Jerry Hayes at the helm and with just enough talent, they can manage to pull off an upset here and there.

Kukkonen injury definitely leaves a big hole to fill for MG and on 59's take on the game summarizes it well.

Very true. That would be a lot of effort involved just to finish off 7 minutes. Not that a 1-0 loss to Central is a bad result by any means, but it stinks not being able to resolve the full game and see if EGF could pull off a sweep.
