No disrespect to any other team but these two teams look the best out of all of them so far. Great pace to this game

The skating has been really good on both sides - great speed as well.

I dont get how the star goalie was allowed to relace his skate with no penalty. You all were talking about fair reffing? Wow. It's a joke.

Are there penalties for equipment breaking in the normal course of play?

But delaying the game so a replaceable player can fix his equipment? You have a backup and that was not a quick fix.

They just got a power play goal on that weak cross checking call where the replay showed the two players were doing the exact same thing, so its probably even at this point

I do agree the pp was soft.

I give the Hounds the edge in play so far, but this has been one of the highest level tourney games I've ever seen full stop.

STA’s Christy seems to be going half speed. Any injury or illness issues?

I think he was injured earlier this year.

Probably the most well-played game in the tournament so far. Fun game. Both teams brought it tonight.

Congrats to STA. Happy for Danny tonight, and while Karl will need a ride to Mariucci tomorrow, at least Danny won’t be dropping him off at a snowbank on a deserted street in St Paul

So who the heck am I supposed to cheer for tomorrow night? Edina or STA?

Deast usually does well on neutral ice. I got season tickets starting this year which means I have throwaway Mariucci tickets if Lee and Karl want the pair.

Was also really impressed with #15 on STA tonight. Never heard of him before but he had quite a few flashes.

I’d say hounds played better game in most respects with more quality oppos, but couldn’t bury the puck. Donahue and pipe played a great game. Ryan O’Neil shoots quickly and did bury the puck .

I thought it was even with both teams controlling different chunks of the game, STA got 1 or 2 more bounces maybe.

Hell of a game to watch. Aside from some soft calls on both sides the speed and physicality was evident. Most physical game all day if not all tournament.
Personally wish the hounds would have moved on but excited to see STA move on for the first time.
Not sure who I'm rooting for tomorrow, probably Edina for second one but I'm on the EP train all the way now.

STAA. I actually root for them now since they manned up.. It would be cool to see the brothers win a title since they pushed for the move up..
