OK Stang, Reg77 might as well get in on it also.
Section 2 3 6 & 7 are locks.

We have the other 4 with each having different teams.
Most out of those 4 at the X is the winner.
Other two provide beverage of choice to the other two.
We can figure out logistics later (since I am guaranteed to win).

1A is such a crapshoot between the top three, but I don’t really trust Easf to put together two good games in the semis and final, and MN River is hard to read based on their schedule (though they would be a nice story going to state). Albert Lea has some nice results recently like crushing Century and tying Hastings, so I hitched my wagon to them.

Unfortunately I don’t have much faith in Breck taking out Orono. They are good enough to hang around with better teams, but lack scoring punch to pull off upsets. Delano’s finish in jumping up to #2 threw a wrench in that whole section.

If I would have known this was a contest, I probably wouldn’t have gone with TRF. That was a bit of a contrarian pick, but oh well. They certainly can make things difficult for Warroad and EGF at the least, and there are always a few weird sectional games. But of course you’ll probably win

Totally random question, but I always wondered why hockey never really took off more in St. Peter. It’s a pretty small community in a nontraditional area, but I would think that the Gustavus presence would stir up more interest. I don’t think they even contribute a large portion of the players to the MN River cooperative. Anyone have insights?

Not quite as good for yours truly. Of the six completed semifinals, I have 8 of 12 correct. The elimination of Monticello and TRF really hurts my chances for the next round, but I could make up ground if Albert Lea and Totino-Grace advance out of their respective sections.
