Tweten looks 35 years old. I half expect him to start discussing his retirement plans.

I hope the AA final is as exciting as this game was.
I believe Aamodt was on the team.
But, if not, he should have been.

Dunno, but I'm sure Karl will have some tidbits for us later today. :)

My bad. Must have missed his name. I hope he decides to go to juniors next year. :D

Aamodt was there. He's on the press release I've got, at least...

And if not, that would be a travesty. Heroic performance down the stretch. Would have been the MVP if the Hawks had won.
I only saw Gotz as the only Hermantown D on the team.
He was definitely there

Watching Hermantown play is like watching the Vikings or Cubs!! What in the world is going on here? There definitely is a curse.

Great game by both teams!!! And a big congrats to EGF on the repeat. And i feel both teams are playing right where they belong, single A!! But fair warning to you guys.... let the haters come out now....you have twice as many state titles in 2 years as Hermantown has in tournament history!!!!! I'm positive that you will be the new target for the haters to move up!!! Should take the pressure off Hermantown now ;).

A great game! Someone should check Twetens birth certificate. He has grown 3 inches and 20 pounds since the fall Elite League, and now looks about 25.

Gutty performances.

The only thing better than the amazing comeback from Hermantown was EGF's ability to maintain composure. I'm not sure EGF was the deepest team but they had more top end talent.
Hats off to EGF coaching staff! Palmiscino and Oliver put it together after losing their top 4 D'men last season. They out coached the Class A field.

They maintained calm and utilized their players superbly. You knew after EGF handled Mahtomedi, Hermy was in for a long day.

Didn't even think of that, but you're right. They find every possible way to lose. Only thing is Hermantown actually makes championship games. Now they have this title game to go along with that huge lead they had on STA that they blew a few years back.

Great comeback by Hermantown, tough loss in overtime.
