Just a bruise. He'll play.
Thanks, Karl

He only went off and stayed off since they were up by like 17. They didn't need him. And they're not Hermantown.

Lifelong Hornets fan, but was awfully proud of those Hounds yesterday. This one should be fun.

They won by 2 goals. A far cry from your sarcastic 17.

If you recognized the sarcasm, why did you need to comment? Ok they were up 3 when he went out. And they aren't Hermantown.
Better?

1 to 0 Edina
A couple more goals by Edina and Duluth East will have them right were they want them

Yeah, I don't know about this whole tying the game in the first period thing. Seems premature.

That's okay, East isn't used to being ahead.

I'm not used to liking either of these teams.
Have to admit though- this is a nice game.

some of the edina guys should be on the swim team not the hockey team. I haven't seen this meaning dives in a high school hockey game. The refs need to start calling the Edina guys for diving. What a joke.

It's called "embellishment". Ask Coach Randolph about that one.

I'll go ahead and say it.
If East beats LVN in the final it has to be one of, if not the best state tourney run in history.
Beat the 3, 2, and 1 seeds? With combined regular season of 68-5-2?
That's immortality.

Great win for those kids. They did exactly what they needed to do and ran the game plan to perfection.

Didn't need the Reverse Jinx for this one. I'm speechless. I'm just going to sit here and revel in it.
Karl won't need the oxygen for this one. Nitrostat, he might.

The better team won tonight, no doubt about it. East has my support for tomorrow. East plays a very frustrating game and you saw it in the Edina players. When I find more time after the 2nd game I will write up my full thoughts on this game.

Props to Edina, greenie. Dangerous, dangerous team. Fun game to watch. Good luck to the Hornets tomorrow.
