EGF will not be able to pull this off if they continue to run just 2 sets of D. They seem to be struggling already. That's what seemed to happen to them in the 3rd period of the last game.

Amen. Thought I'd pick with my heart.jeffpv wrote:Now that I would like to see!dherman8 wrote:EGF by 3
Yes. Maybe they should try the WCHA. What a joke.jeffpv wrote:Pretty sure STA would win the AA tourney this year.
Haha that's a good one.karl(east) wrote:The STA student section is right. "This is awkward."
4 goals from STA's Regan-Perry-McManus line in this one.
And we will just take your word for itjeffpv wrote:Pretty sure STA would win the AA tourney this year.
The chants you can come up with are amazing when you don't have to watch the game because the outcome is already determined.thestickler07 wrote:Haha that's a good one.karl(east) wrote:The STA student section is right. "This is awkward."

I'm not sure what you mean, but I've watched all the games for both classes, and I haven't seen another team, apart from perhaps Edina, who moves the puck like STA, have you?DubCHAGuy wrote:And we will just take your word for itjeffpv wrote:Pretty sure STA would win the AA tourney this year.
Well I wouldn't call it amazing, but its better than "we got spirit, yes we do."dherman8 wrote:The chants you can come up with are amazing when you don't have to watch the game because the outcome is already determined.
No one is arguing anything, take the drama this way.dherman8 wrote:There is no defending this, there is nothing to argue. Can we lock this thread now?
We were talking about winning class AA but it doesn't matter. No drama here. Thanks to STA.thestickler07 wrote:No one is arguing anything, take the drama this way.dherman8 wrote:There is no defending this, there is nothing to argue. Can we lock this thread now?

This isn't an argument, it's a discussion.dherman8 wrote:There is no defending this, there is nothing to argue. Can we lock this thread now?
There ya go.dherman8 wrote:We were talking about winning class AA but it doesn't matter. No drama here. Thanks to STA.
I think that backup goalie just tried the stand up kick save on that five hole goal.Nostalgic Nerd wrote:Lookin' like they could score 10+ even with their third and fourth lines.
I agree. The sad thing is he has no chance on most of these.jeffpv wrote:This isn't an argument, it's a discussion.dherman8 wrote:There is no defending this, there is nothing to argue. Can we lock this thread now?
Since the game isn't too compelling, we can at least speculate on other things, no?
By the way, I really feel sorry for the EGF goalie.
Right, he might have had a chance on a couple, but he certainly is not to blame. It's hard to actually judge how he's playing, because most of STA's goals look like something out of the NHL All-Star game (and those goalies can't stop them, either!).dherman8 wrote:I agree. Fair enough. However, if they dismantle Hermantown like this tomorrow...well, I think that'd make a pretty strong case.DubCHAGuy wrote:Yes STA has looked like the best puck moving team out there during there playoff run against #90, #68, #29, #59, and #22 in the PS2 rankings. None of the AA teams have been as impressive.
I would have given them a 70% (3AA) or 30% chance (4AA) of even making the AA tourney, depending on what section they played in. And I'd give them around 50-50 odds against each of the teams playing tonight. So yes, I think they could win the AA championship but we'll never know. The AA champ is usually whoever is playing their best against the best competition at the right time and not always the best team.
