Final 7 - 5 empty netter. Hibbing 2 goals on first 3 shots. Warroad came back twice to pull within one. Hibbing goalie made the save of the game with about a 1:40 left to keep it 6 - 5. Shots 39 - 38 favored Warroad. Penalties 14 Warroad, 7 Hibbing. Definitely not the best showing by either goalie. Could Jo-Jo have been the difference - doesn't matter the games in the books. It is very clear that if Warroad is to be successful they need to stay out of the penalty box. Way too many dumb penalties....but give Hibbing credit they won the game. Definitely would like to see these two face off again later. <p></p><i></i>

Anyone who had the goals for Hibbing and which goalie they played? This could be the 8PM(I thought the late game started at like 9:30 in the past?) quarterfinal come March.<br>Congrats Hibbing, keep it up boys! <p></p><i></i>

No houses for sale in Warroad today, guys that worked the game were from TRF. And yes, I'm pretty close on the totals for the penalties and shots cuz I was pushing the buttons for the shots on the scoreboard and was sitting next to the guy doing the scoresheet. And there were more than enough "cement-head" penalties taken by WHS. This is one area I see being addressed or these guys won't go anywhere. They're not good enough to beat good teams playing short-handed.<br><br>SB24, you get spanked by a truth teller and you go hide under your bridge. I am so sick of all of the complaining about the referees this year. After every game it seems like someone is complaining about all of the calls or the lack of calls. Back to the point at hand though, i would think that as Warrior supporters we should be allies. We have enough people against the cause already. Why start fighting within the group?
