Anyone in 7th grade playing varsity should be given kudos this kid can play if he's doing this lets just hope he gets better the next few years and enjoy watching him

Continued good success young man. many are rooting for you. Keep it up. If sports illustrated still existed you would get a spot in the faces in the crowd. Go get em

I can't believe Cambridge didn't produce a goalie for 5 school grades...this kid must be on the verge of being a special player.
In true Minnesota fashion we'll all look for any chance to downgrade him but we could always just celebrate the fact that a 7th grader is manning the pipes and doing it well...Nice job kid!

Jake is a pretty good Goalie. And yes Cambridge did nothing to help produce any Goalies. Looking at the Varsity roster, the back up is a 9th grader who is a 98 and who just turned 14 a few months ago. He switched to goalie as a first year Pee-Wee. They both started out on JV and now are on Varsity. Kudoos to the young men.

Oops "the kid" did it again. Second shut out and the CI boys actually got more than 14 shots on net, way to go. Keep up the good work boys.

I think it is cool that a 7th grader is playing varsity as a goalie, regardless of where he is playing. Will be fun to see how we develops over the next few years.
