Am I the only one that has to look at the materialistic portion of this, $1100 for a three game tournament????? No thanks!!! Much better bargins out there with just as good if not better competition. I also think this Gate Fee thing is getting out of control. I understand that concept, but as it keeps inching higher, people are going to take a real look at it and make a judgement on if they are going to that tournament based on that.

Let's just call it an $1100 tournament, not a $700 tournament.
That is already happening. Costs of tournaments are getting crazy.

Funny stuff ... it got to be really hard to figure out how to pair1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8?

Loved the prediction Kennedy over Jefferson in BA final!

Pick Kennedy not winning a game in both pwa and BA!

I used this reasoning:

Kennedy is as good as any team in "A" - their record reflects it. Kennedy vs. Jefferson in final would be the Super Bowl X100 for those kids. I honestly think they could pull it off. They played once in November and it was 2-1 Jefferson.

As for Kennedy PWA...you are probably right.

As for the seeds, i think the Committee was 0 for 4 on who and how they seeded this thing. Stillwater and Wayzata are easily the two best BB1 teams in the state, they needed to be divided.

With all due respect, Stillwater is not easily one of the top two teams in the state. Not even close. Wayzata is, not Stillwater. Stillwater has a nice team, but they are very beatable. You don't see enough games and teams to make that comment. Wayzata on the other hand will be a very tough team to beat.

gorrila's chanhassen team loses to stillwater 4-3 and that sets off a storm. 1 loss in a good league, a bunch of good wins and winning ep tourney qualifies them for something don't ya think?

With all due respect, we see a lot of games at all levels. Stillwater beat Wayzata yesterday. So either Wayzata who was undefeated is playing a patsy schedule or Stillwater's two tournament wins (and likely a third today) is a complete fluke.

In case you missed it, yesterday's game between Wayzata and Stillwater was fantastic hockey. I was glad that it didn't get to a shootout (a bad way for a great game to end, IMO).

I stand by what I wrote: Stillwater is easily one of the top two teams in the state...right now. So is Wayzata.
