I heard the 99 Machine lost their best player. (Injury). I believe they're 1-3 for the tournament.

The 98 MN Traktor team goes 3-0 in pool play and earns #1 seed. Play-offs start today.

Seems to happen as the Machine teams get older. Nice win for the Icemen.

Starting to agree with you. I would bet the 2000's will probably stick together. Either that or they will all go like the 96 team.

04 legacy 2-3 /w a couple close losses. Looks like the 04 made teams should have played down a level.

The made teams should just come as one. I realize they don't start doing that till the next year though.

In the 2003 division the Machine lost in the Bronze medal game and the Blades lost in the semis for the Bronze medal game. The Gradient selects won the D side

In the 2002 Division, the Blades ended up winning the Bronze medal. (Blades coach got the boot in one game apparantly) The Machine ended up in the tougher pool (both finalists were in their pool) and ended up on the B side losing a tough one in the finals.
EuroRed won a tight game in the AAA finals. Congrats to them!

In the 2001 Division the Minnesota Machine won the C Side and the Blades ended up losing out on the B side semi finals.

2000 Division saw the Machine Victorious. Congrats to them as there were some really strong teams in that age group. I saw some of the games and WOW, that was good hockey. The Blades were eliminated in the B side semi finals.

1999's the iceman lost on the bronze finals and the Machine beat the Blades in a 4th in pool vs 4th in pool game.

Team Traktor won the Bronze game against DHI Octane.

Minnesota has some real strong teams. I think the results above show how deep a field this tournament has. Excellent competition in all age groups.

sorry for the long post

Not exactly....

Machine lost the 5th place game
Blades fininshed 7th/8th (there wasn't a 7th place game)
Gradient last in their pool, so they won the 13th-place game
Hometown Hockey finished dead last in the tourney

Combined, the MN '03 Elite teams went 7-14 on the weekend. Competitive tourney. Lots of great hockey.

Actually the American Stars the "other mn 2001 team" beat the Machine for the C side...and came out of the pool with the 3rd overall Manitoba, B pool winner Vancouver, and D pool winner Lethbridge.

Damn, another mistake on my part. Thought it read 4-2 not 4-7. My bad AGAIN. Thanks for correcting me.

if the 02 blades went 3-2, how are the suppose to compete at the super duper tourney? If they do better at the brick, does that mean this tourney is better than the brix and the brix is just all hype?

The Blades almost lost to the NAA Sting as well (actually tied them in pool play but the game was replayed due to a miscalculation or something) Losing to the Jr Jets (which was their second time to them) is one thing but losing to the BC Bears who are good team, is more concerning.
