3-0. What I hoped would happen last night.

Weird, pulling for a private school, but BSM is a blast to watch. Add in the Jablonski factor, and there you have it...

Only in the third period.

Meanwhile, this is getting ridiculous.

I hate to say it Karl, but this version was sadly wearing hounds jerseys last night.

Sure looks like it, though at least the East goalie played well. This is just a train wreck for South tonight. It's a shame; they were so crisp yesterday.

To people watching on TV...what was that between-periods feature on East about? I saw it on the TVs up here, but there's no sound...

Sure I'll have all the LS people riled up with this, but this was the LS team I saw play 10+ times this year. Sloppy, disorganized and relying on 15 to win games. Hats off for beating DE last night but after watching DE play 7 times this season we all know hounds weren't themselves last night bc they beat themselves. Too bad.

It was a John Millea story on all the traveling the Hounds do during the regular season, expectations on the kids and school, that kind of thing.

Yeah, the key quote was that they do a lot of traveling to get better competition in order to be prepared for the state tourney, since Duluth is so isolated. I think that Moorhead does a lot of traveling for the same reason.

When Millea said East travels more than anybody, I was thinking about some of the really isolated schools such as Roseau and going "Really?"

Sad to see this.
Was expecting a good one tonight.
BSM looks like the Russians (before 1980) :D
Everything's gone their way, and everythings been biting LS.
Kloos clangs one off the pipe.
BSM just allllll over them.

That's why the state champion is the team that plays the best when the games really matter...the last three. Hats off to all 8 teams that made it, but the most consistent team in the tourney is the champ for a reason. One off game and......

I would just like to see Lakeville South get one goal. :?

Yeah, Roseau travels a lot just to play "local" rivals. Their closest AA rivals must be Moorhead, Bemidji, and Grand Rapids! I don't know why St. Cloud doesn't produce competitive teams for AA. It's the largest population centre up nort' except for Duluth.

I know one guy who has some fairly strong opinions on that one.

Hockey is a funny game, South is not as good as they played last night and not as bad as they are playing tonight. Kind of unchartered territory for south as they had managed to stay in all their games this year. I wish I could come up with something positive but there isn't to much to say other than OUCH!

About Roseau, or St. Cloud? I suppose if Tech, Apollo, and Cathedral were all combined, they'd be competitive at AA level.

St. Cloud and why they don't produce competitive AA teams.

Its to bad the game has got way out of hand for Lakeville. I have told u all the entire year Benilde was the team to beat. They will have to play well tomorrow to beat Hill. Should be great game tomorrow.
