Why is everyone assuming Lakeville South is the #8 team. I seen polls where they were ranked higher then Hill-Murray and Moorhead. I feel they should seed the teams 1-8.

If they have a good showing this year, that will change.
Respect is earned.

Channel 45 blew the wrestling finals tonight, it rarely worked. I hope they get it fixed before the hockey tournament as this was an embarrassment for the MSHSL and Channel 45.
When does the contract run out for Channel 45 and the hockey tournament? I'll be looking forward to that day. Not a fan of the job they do, feel like it could be much better.

But, it's not the kids fault there section is bad. Are they just supposed to give up and just tell another section they can go to the tournament? There trying there best and there nothing they can do about it.
Did not seem like Roseauverrated was bashing any kids. Just saying what is true, 1aa is weak. What do you do? Pretend it isn't?

I completely agree 1AA is weak and I know that. I'm not saying he specifically was bashing any kids, but he says he feels no sympathy for them. And if you look at any of his previous posts he has always had something negative to say about this section each year like its there fault or something. It's obvious these kids want to go to the state tournament just as bad as any other kid does, but I feel bad for them because almost every time it'shard for them to have a good showing on the big stage against a good team, simply because there just not good enough.

Who are the plenty of teams not in the tournament that would "smoke them"? They played Eagan twice and lost by one goal each game. (Eagan is a top 5 team, aren't they?) Please specify. If you want to say Minnetonka, well, they got smoked in the region final. Who that's not already there would "smoke them"?

Prior to this years Super Bowl the NFC had won the coin toss 14 years in a row. 16,384 to 1 odds.

We have a ways to go

Of course these are random draws.........what isn't mentioned is how many times the teams are "randomly" drawn to obtain the wanted matchups......!!!!

It is random. If they say it is and forums like this are saying "no it isn't" year in and year out, they would have to be crazy to mess with it. Getting similar outcomes with only 4 inputs is not that hard to believe. The T-wolves have had a crap team forever and get close to the top number of balls in the random draw and "I think" they have NEVER gotten the number 1 pick. There are big odds against that happening as well. My guess is that the NBA knows that Minnesotan's are hockey people and why waste a number one here. On second thought, maybe it isn't random ha ha ha

You mean you don't like Phil Housley doing all the Class A games, absolutely at a loss for words at nearly all times, (sounding like his boy the Wooger on FSN broadcasts) and Lou Nanne doing the AA? Cmon man! :? :?

i think it would more accurate to look at the past 14 heads or tails calls, unless the coin has AFC on one side and NFC on the other. i doubt it does, though.

Of course it is Random drawing for the four teams that are unseeded in the tournament. What isn't random is who they play. Example would be lets say that Benilde was drawn first. That was random however they chatted and decided that they should play Edina. Then Lakeville South was randomly drawn second. They were definately going to play Duluth East etc. So you see it is a random drawing there is just a small loophole so they get the matchups that they want
