Wayzata would definitely keep their better players from leaving for the privates and would make multiple state tourney appearances.
It makes a lot of sense. Hopefully, AD does the right thing
Not sure they would be willing to be on the bench together.

I am just asking the question -
What about the Wayzata Bantam A coach and his staff. He seems to have a very good team year in and year out. I believe he works in the private sector.
Not sure if he would be interested, I thought I would throw out to the forum.

OG85.... you have not watched much bantam/bantam eligible hockey recently if you think the Edina and Woodbury (formerly WBL) players you mentioned are at the top of the hill. They are not the same players they were at the younger level - there are many other players in their age/peer group that I would select before them.... but who knows, things could change again.

No my oldest is jr in highschool,[two years removed] and next oldest is going to be a 2nd year pee-wee. That's why I'm asking. NOT being a jerk in any way, shape, or form. I know Lance and like his product line. Just asking........

OG85.... Lance would be a great selection as a coach for Wayzata HS and his kid is a heck of a player.

Name an interim head coach for the 11-12 season and then give the job to Lucia, simply based on experience.

Whoever they decide to bring in as coach better be able to get them to state. The Wayzata youth program is one of the best and biggest in the state, and they lose players to better high school programs and better coaches. Davis wasn't ever good enough to win the big games to go to the big dance, and if the new coach can't do that either I don't see a bright future for Wayzata.

Just so everyone knows Rem is going to Shattuck. Would have been fun to see him and shane gersich battle it out in a few years.
