This past Friday and Saturday, I was getting it a lot on my old desktop, running Mozilla. Last two days...just fine. never experienced any issues using my Droid. Must be something to do with server(s) getting bogged down during heavier usage times?!?!?!

Me too. Seems like this time of year when traffic picks up. the server has problems. Though I will say it is way better this year than last. I still say we need to move this board to a different host that can handle the load better.

Agreed. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that 80% of the time I visit this site - I would see that error screen at least once. Doesn't matter the time of year, though I see it more than once on the high traffic times.
Oh the irony. Getting a Critical Error message while trying to post in the Critical Error thread.

I've noticed it being worse during the day than in the evenings, which is ironic because the heaviest traffic is almost always at night, especially between 8-10 p.m.
Mitch is aware of this issue.

I hear ya!! Usually just refresh it a few times and I'm good
