We could argue who is #1, Sartell or Little Falls untill we are passed out from exhaustion, I'm okay with that. But if you are using section games to bias your seedings, you should realize that Willmar has 3 section losses. Little Falls has 2. Little Falls' section losses are to Willmar and Sartell. Willmar has a losses to Sartell, Alexandria, and Morris-Benson along with a tie against Apollo. I don't think Willmar gets the second seed.... even when using only section games.
My opinion is that Wilmar's recent success is what puts them up there. 6 losses before Christmas, 7 on the season. While it's up in debate, I'd say you rank the team currently more than the season as a whole.

Thoughts on the Lourdes/St Thomas OT game? Lourdes still has the Marshall loss on their schedule and Breck did also lose by 1 goal to St Thomas and they are low, but Lourdes did get to OT with the best team in the class. Where should Lourdes end up? Does St Thomas drop?

Lourdes gets bumped up a few. At least 2 positions.

STA stays #1.

I think you have to move Lourdes up in polls.

Questionable buzzer (2nd period) goal, they arguably gave STA the best game of class a teams.

STA should stay #1

But LHS should move up---but, they also have to prove they are consistent and for real vs Rogers and Totino

They should wrap up Big 9 title this Thursday vs Owatonna....

I agree with your point, but you need to do your homework on the losses. LF's section losses are games in which (1)vs.Sartell LF Back-up goalie played and had a bad night.. Flyers still outshot Sartell and #2 vs. Willmar LF's two seniors are benched - 1 for last two periods, and 1 for last period for discipline reasons.. They do not have a deep enough team to lose top players and still win against quality opponents...

Watch out for Mahtomedi. They have been playing very well lately.
