picking up a thread from another post -

EP did have a very tough pool play bracket with wins over Cent, Woodbury and Mpls Park. Saturdays games we played at 8:00am and 9:30pm got home at midnight on sat and played a very tough Duluth East team sunday morning.

No excuses. Give credit to Burnsville for winning the Championship, DE for 2nd and CP for 3rd.

We all know the difficulties in game scheduling for tourneys but check out the times that some teams had to deal with - http://assets.ngin.com/attachments/docu ... ntam_A.pdf
This could have an impact on teams returning in the future- it was still an excellent ran tourney but with 3 ice sheets there should not be times like these. Others do way better with less.

I have never heard of the 10 hour rule but it makes sense. Roseau had to play three games in 28 hours and they were on the way home on Saturday afternoon. Overall I think it was a well run tourney and the competition was great. EP did play late at night but was allowed to sleep in on Sunday. The tourney could have done a better job by having the Peewees play both semis in the early morning and having the bantam semis at the later times. I think that Burnsville will be back. Good warm up for the upcoming playoffs.

Looks like Roseau played 3 games within 21 hours according to schedule.
