Stillwater should have the 2nd seed clinched as long as they keep playing the way they are. Their very hot as of late. But when it comes down to it, as long as Hill doesn't win the section, I think everyone will be happy.

I don't know, the Hill fans might not be.

Well, Hill fans consist of parents, middle-aged former players, and about 8 students, so I think we can cut our losses.

That's way embellished, but it holds some truth; which makes it funny.

Stillwater or WBL as long as it is one of those teams most of Mn will be happy. At least 99% of the east metro.

Don't forget about former team managers and band geeks. I'm sure PPG fits in somewhere?

Where did you stick the flute, PPG
Lets get back to the topic...
Who's going to be in the finals?
I have the usual order... Bear with a side of Pioneer.

I think the Pioneers will be in the finals but they are not a slam dunk to win it. Will be interesting....as always.

Watched WBL Sat. Not that impressed. Still beat us, I would think Stillwater and Hill. Won't be long now. It's starting to feel like tournament time [temp].

I can see Stillwater edging out White Bear in the semis. Stillwater has a lot to prove in the section final game as well as the final game. The seniors played with Bahe and Timmy all through bantams. It would mean alot to get the first state birth for the Ponies. I do think HM is the better team but it all comes down to who wants it more during section time.

The Ponies better find some offense soon or they might not even see the semi's

Stillwater seems to have lost some of their heat!

With last nights NSP's dismantling of Stillwater, I have to assume the seedings will be the following:
1) Hill-Murray
2) White Bear Lake
3) North St Paul
4) Stillwater
5) Roseville
6) Tartan
7) Mounds View
8. Como Park
9) St Paul Saints
Now HM will have an even easier ride to the State Tourney!

3-5 seeds are still up for grabs. NSP's win versus Stillwater just gave them a second go at the 3 seed. And Roseville can still claim it as well. We'll have to wait until this weekend.

1. HM
2. WB
3. Still
4. Rose
5. NSP
6. MV
7. Tart
8. Como
9. Saints

St Paul Saints are Class A (Section 4A), PPG.
They opted down at the end of last year.

3-5 are still up for grabs. I think Stillwater still gets the 3rd seed, however not if they lose to both Hastings & BSM. NSP sure has an argument for getting it. A 4-0 win last night is pretty convincing.
Stillwater 15-6-2
Hastings & BSM left
beat Roseville twice
lost to NSP 4-0
North St. Paul 14-8-1
STA & Mounds view left
Roseville 11-9-3
WBL & Roch. Century left

With the CSC beating up on the SEC, and NSP beating SW this late in the year, I don't see how you could put SW ahead of NSP. If its based on win/loss records alone, then why have a seeding meeting.
Also, there is no way you can put Roseville ahead of Stillwater. The ponies swept the raiders, and will finish higher in the SEC.

By basic reasoning people think NSP gets ahead of Stillwater but NSP has no wins over ranked opponents. And the strength of schedule is way lower then Stillwater. I still see the 3 spot to Stillwater and 4 to Roseville with 5 going to NSP.
Hold on, Hold on........that would mean that I AGREE with PPG! in whta world is that possible? I think I need to see a therapist.
