I think roster depth will have a lot to do with the success at STA this year, their top end players are very good but what has changed is they don't appear to have the same level of underclassmen as past years. Hard to replace guys like Schroeder, Isaackson, Crandall, Walters and the like each year. They had a hell of a run but I don't see them plucking the top kids out of associations like they have in the past. This team has had freshman and sophomores make huge contributions over the last 6 or 7 years. Minnetonka on the other hand has a large association and can almost reload on a yearly basis. For the first time in years I'm not sure STA belongs in the conversation with the top schools regardless of class.

Not sure I agree with keepyourhead up comment. It was a great hockey game, could have gone either way.

JV game between STA and Tonka was 3-1 which was also a really good game.

It is not like Tonka ran over either of STA's teams.

Minnetonka- looked solid, #22 looked like the top guy on tuesday, they might suprise some people at the end of the year

STA- looked like the better team in the third period as they outshot tonka like 13-4. The only thing is they have no depth
