Congrats on a solid Tourney Duluth East. If I'm a betting man, I say you return to St. Paul next year and never see Mariucci.

Yes congrats to the seniors, some of you had to put up with a lot of bull this season and I commend you for not letting anyone tell you what you can do or who you are. Good job Hounds. I have to take back my previous comment because Randolph actually did adjust his game plan & finally played the "team"...I can't believe it happened, but I am happy to see that all the seniors played today. They deserved it all along!!!karl(east) wrote:Fun game, though it definitely got out of hand towards the end; there wasn't enough room in the penalty boxes. Roseau played well, and I don't know how they didn't score on their power play in the 2nd. It had its ups and downs, but all in all it was a pretty nice season for the Rams.
For the Hounds, this has to be considered a very good season. They improved significantly as the year went on and definitely earned 5th place in the state. As any team does, they hit some bumps in the road, but I'm proud of the effort they all put forth. Congrats to the seniors--Jayce Paulseth, Kenny Mellin, Kyle Lutzka, Kevin Brazerol, Troy Olson, Tim Beddow, Tyler Mass, Jay Amato--for all sticking with the program and giving their all. They had the misfortune of graduating in something of a rebuilding year, but they made the most of it and brought home some hardware for the first time in 5 years. For the underclassmen, the future looks bright--I can't wait to see what the future holds, and the strong finish should be a great launching pad for next year.
Thanks for another fun season, Hounds. You made this trip home a blast. Off to the X now for one last session of hockey.
