He is the brother. When they were down in Mankato West gave them a run for their money, like I said Lourdes plays everyone close. Red Wing was good practice for Brock, and Brett, Noesen (sp?), Mensing, and I forgot the last one really can put some pts up on the board also.

I think there is a difference between "putting up points" and being?
1. Committed to UND
2. A Candidate for Mr. Hockey (basically him or bjugstad)
3. Ranked an A player on the NHL scouting report and projected 17th in midterm rankings of north American players.

I want Lourdes to win this game and think they have the best chance for a first round upset. I think they'll do it as long as they contain those two with a team oriented defense as they have been. But my point is don't compare
a pat noesen or josh mensing to a Brock nelson or even brett Hebel for that matter.

I totally agree with that I am just saying the team has been able to contain what has been thrown at then so far. Warroad brings amazing talent to their game but you know everyone has good and bad games, but Brock and Brett are two very special players, we will have to see what happens.

Does Warroad realize you should graduate from HS when you are oh, say, 18 or so?
They have a dozen guys who look 28.

I'm going to go against the crowd here, even tho it's already 1-0 Warroad, I think Lourdes hangs tough.
Lourdes only lost by 1 to Breck a month ago.
They can play a little bit.

you would have to be retarded to think any southern team will have a shot in the future at winning state...class A or AA

You could say the same thing about anyone who thinks SCC2009 will amount to anything in life!

I wanted to see a decent game as well and stayed up for two periods think lourdes might keep it interesting.
So much for the depth people were talking about in the Class A tourney. 5-8 bowed out today and Virginia was the only to keep it respectable.

I'm not gonna lie, at the start of the day I was concerned that Warroad would win one tight game and be bounced out by Breck in the next game. However, I was very impressed by what I saw from Warroad. I don't know much about Lourdes but I've heard they were good defensively and the Warriors were able to pick them apart. Brock Nelson, even though he had two goals and four assists, could have had about another 3 goals (and thats no exaggeration). He'll have to finish those plays to beat Breck on Friday. I'm not getting my hopes up but the game should be more interesting than I originally expected.
