Apparently you don't know how to search for scores, being an "old" goalie can really suck. :D

Elk River has beaten Centennial, Maple Grove, Duluth East, Andover (twice), Woodbury, Grand Rapids, tied Centennial, Moorhead and Osseo. Finished 3rd in one of the states premiere conferences with a 12-4-2 record. Two of the loses to Blaine in tight games. I think that may make them legit. I don't know about powerhouse, but legit.

I think the Suburban East is a good conference, but not great. Flake has had some nice wins this year in a year that nobody had them on the radar. I don't think the Elks are looking by Flake, but I can tell you they have had one of the strongest schedules in the state this year and will be ready to play. Reading the Flake posts, most of you think you are an automatic come next Thursday. You better buckle those chin straps. Game on.

This is funny. I didn't know that Elk River also had to play Flake in Baseball and Football on Saturday.

Just asking we should save our anti-goalie coments untill after sat. Good luck to all the kids , and I hope they cherish the time and success they are having. Go Rangers.

I think Flake missed out on a great opportunity this year and may look back and regret the showing against Elk River. I realize that Flake has some nice Sophs, but they also had a blend of talented seniors and Fick was a special player. Add to it that 7AA did not have a powerhouse team this year, I feel like that may have been Flake's best chance to get to the show. I see East being a major player state wide next year and will be more heavily favored in 7AA. We shall see...
