Only saw the first period, which was pretty even and then the myfoxhockey feed went down. Tonka outshot Wayzata 20-6 in the 3rd and 44-32 for the game. This is going to be a ridiculous section tournament.
Don't confuse conference play with section seeding. Tonka is still the #1 team in the state. No one has proved otherwise including Wayzata... which let's not forget has two losses... Seems kind of silly that the Classic Lake Champs would get seeded behind the Classic Lake Runner up. Not going to argue...but this leaves a bad taste. Against the #3 team in the State (Edina) according to this message board, Wayzata is 3-0 and Tonka is 1-1. I believe you about the quality wins against Top 20 teams, but I'd like to see it on paper.knowitall wrote:Overall records and head to head are more important than conference standings.
