Confirmed...Wayzata goes down in flames to Fort Williams 2-1. Canadian hockey is so ugly. I bet they iced the puck 70 times. Oh well. Centennial at 1 PM.

there a competitive team. much better than what I saw in Dec at the spirit of duluth tourney.
Unofficial Pool C standings:
Wayzata 1-1-0 20 pts
Tonka 1-0-1 19 pts
Ft Williams 1-0-1 18 pts
Centennial 0-2-0 2 pts
Pool C is up for grabs. Any of top 3 can win based on gm 3 results. The wildcard will not come from this pool.

Very competititve pool. 5 of the 6 games were tie or 1 goal games.

Lville takes 3rd in a slow game against bville6-5. Good weekend for lakeville 4-1 overall

A very competitive tournament for many teams.
Duluth and Lakeville post 3-0 records in pool play to win Pools A and B.
Tonka wins Pool C with a record of 1-0-2.
Burnsville wins a 6-way tie for the wildcard berth over Wayzata, Ft Williams, Ft. Francis, Elk River and the Bearcats from Thunder Bay. They all posted 1-1-1 records.
In the semifinals, Duluth and Lakeville enterd the 3rd tied at 2-2. Lakeville scored an early goal to take the lead, but Duluth raliied for 4 goals to defeat Lakeville 6-3 to earn a shot at repeating for the 'ship.
In the other semifinal, Tonka and Burnsville entered the 3rd tied up at 1-1. Tonka scored 2 sniper goals to advance to their 2nd championship game of the season.
In the finals, Tonka jumped out to a 3-0 lead after 2. Duluth rallied to close the gap to 3-2 with 2:15 remaining. Tonka got a late empty netter to win 4-2 and claim their second title of the year.
