I'm watching on myfoxhockey; it's 1-0 Spuds after 1.

There is an awful lot of individual talent on Jefferson, but they don't seem to be playing like a team right now.

Thanks for the update Karl.

I actually have to do some work today and can just check in from time to time for scores.

Keep the updates and comments coming.

2-1 Jefferson in the 2nd.

PP goals from Herbert and Dietzler (I think).

Jefferson had a 5-on-3 and looked absolutely terrible, so Lindquist took a timeout. It was a great call; they scored the first right away and the second about a minute later.

Still 2-1 after two.

The game opened up a lot in the second; the Jags controlled the middle portion of the period, but Moorhead had a strong PP and a couple other great chances towards the end. They just couldn't put any in.

Definitely a game worth watching.

4-1 final.

Jefferson has some great top end talent, and it showed in the 3rd period. The time out was the turning point in the game; they finally started playing like a team afterwards. They were pretty chippy, too.

Moorhead had a few chances but couldn't get an equalizer late in the second, and the defense had just a few too many lapses. Part of that was Jefferson's speed, but there were too many odd-man rushes to chalk it all up to the talent gap.

The last line says it all for the Spuds, they just dont have any real goal scorers this year. It has been a topic many of us Spud faithful have talked about at the rink.
