There are teams that don't travel out of town for tourneys at that age (some not at all). Development player costs are around $600-$800 for around 40-60 hours of practice. You'll pay close to that amount for a 5 session Glantz camp plus spring and fall showcase or MASH. A week of skills plus 20 MASH games doesn't seem like the same value as a spring and fall of being on the ice with a qualified coach.
