Little Falls draws the hardest team to possibly face first round. A lot of people on these forums were picking Virginia not only as an upset, but as the tourney WINNER. If LF loses the next game people will never say it's because LF played a poor game. It will be because LF is overrated.

If LF wins the next game, it will mean nothing, people still won't be impressed, Breck will have "played as poor of a game as you can" and people will continue to watch the tourney not giving credit to LF for their victory.

I love the way some of you people think. Stop being a bunch of sours. Just because your team wasn't undefeated doesn't mean you have to stop giving credit to the team that deserves it.

you are kidding right? Virginia was the toughest first round draw? i would say mahtomedi was for knockign off STA, beating Hill this year etc...there was nothing tough about virginia or their schedule...who did they beat? Grand Rapids..yeah..they had a great year lol lourdes was a tougher draw than virginia...virginia was slightly better than hutch.

SCC2009 Please do not stop posting, you are clearly the most intelligent person on this sight. I'm on board with you on the hutch/virginia comparison. Would Virginia even make it out of hutch's section? Let's just get rid of hockey on the range all together! Mahtomedi should have been the #1 overall seed cause they beat STA. Actually they should have made Mahtomedi play AA after they beat STA. Anyway, keep the posts coming brother, I'm going back to watching hockey and sniffing glue....

You said LF gave up too many shots and didn't have enough?  LF dominated shots on goal through the first 2 1/2 periods of play.  Are you talking about quality scoring opportuninties? Again in LF's favor. You come on the thread and say Ben played good and the rest didn't? It's seems like you & alot of Husky fans have a Man-Crush on Ben. Look at LF's last goal, the whole play. Ben was given a great scoring opportunity because of his teammates. Both defensman were tied up by Waytshek and Hirsch, with a nice drop pass from Hirsch & then Ben fininshed the play. That sounds like great team-work to me. Everybody in the state knows by now Ben is the top finisher, ya think his teammates don't realize that? Ben was obviously great and the rest of the team played really good.

Of course I would like to see the rest of the team finish on more of their scoring chances & they will), but the fact that their getting those chances and continue to get them is what is really important.
