gopherhockey21 has been dogging century ever since his beloved spartans bowed out in sections. I went to one game this year and they were alright... not as good as back in the day but good none the less. However that was a meaningless game and unlike the section final. The little bro told me they were pretty insane tonight. The blogger from there also said the fans were there standing and cheering over and hour before the game so he was inpressed. Hopefully nobody was hurt when the glass shattered after they won.

You're right. You're the definition of class.

He was clearly milking it. If Timmy was hurt as much as he showed, he would have left the game.

id like to see you take the hit he did and just walk it off in seconds. give the kid a few minutes to collect his marbles.

white bear lake..... they were great against Hill and had some very funny signs, my favorite being:

Hill Murray-
Keeping ugly girls and pot heads out of public schools since 1971

(not sure on the year)

Haha unbiased opinion here, i was right on the goaline. The Hill goaltender barely got hit. He was obviously not too badly hurt. Maybe he pulled a muscle, but he barely got clipped..

last year. hill murray vs moorhead in moorhead. there were barely any students and the ones that were there was pretty quiet. for a game that was on FSN on a saturday night, pretty dismal showing.

Last time I checked, Duluth is a pretty big city too. East is the Edina of the north, except with better recruiting!

For starters he was steered into the keeper by his own defenseman. Second, sitting on the Hill Murray section they showed their class by talking and giggling during the national anthem!

I don't know when #'s made you a good/loud/creative student section.

Since I got back in Minnesota Tuesday I've gone to the Coliseum twice and Mariucci Thursday, and in my opinion every student section disappointed me. I heard nothing but generic chants, or chants that trickled down from the college kids. No creativeness what so ever.

White Bear Lake had numbers, quiet numbers. Same goes for Jefferson. While waiting at the gate in Mariucci they'd loudly boo the Edina kids when they came in, which made waiting in line for tickets a little more fun, but as soon as the puck dropped I never heard them again. Perhaps because they weren't winning, but they should have put for a little more effort to motivate their team some more. Same goes for Centennial.

The only original chant I've heard over the last 3 days was the one talked about earlier in the thread, Stillwater chanting "Let's not milk it." to an injured player. If that's the best any kids can come up with now a days, and it's something just completely disrespectful, things are really getting bad.

Burnsville, Edina, EP, and Jefferson usually had some pretty big student sections.
Here's Jefferson's section during the game against Edina.

I'm afraid I do not have a very good picture of Duluth East student sections from a playoff game.

This one from a regular season game last year will have to do.
I'm sure he must of spelled worst wrong. It's not best it's worst. Century's fan section is embarrassing. No wonder the team acts the way it does.
Reasons gopherhockey21 aka "fairy" hates on century:
1. The beloved BAT line couldn't cut it in playoffs against a real team. (no offense DC)
2. The brick wall in net didnt save anything for the most part.
3. The century student section started a "FuMayo" chant.
4. A panther would rip out a spartans throat.
5. Big N9ne runner up looks good on a green and gold letter jacket.
6. The whole young life attitude Mayo has could make anyone want to puke.

the list could go on and on
