And they did every different version of the wave possible. That was ridiculous. I've never been more impressed with a student section.

Jefferson for years had amazing student sections but theirs along with many others i feel are not nearly as good these days but i think that can be blamed on school adminstrations. I just know that 2,3,4 years ago Jefferson had intense student sections and it showed. Opponents that were lucky enough to score on the Jags would try to celebrate in front of the Jefferson fans and a few of the players lost their stick due to the fans yanking it out of their hands. If they do that now days though the student will probably be suspended and told never to come back. Now I'm not saying that they should let fans grab sticks but they take all the fun out of being somewhat abnoxious. No inapropiate chants, no signs, no putdowns, no nothing. It takes away some of the atmosphere and its too bad......

haha yes, as a part of that student section 2 years ago, it was the best.... the student section has been on a steady decline due to kids getting kicked out of games on a regular basis just for yelling stuff... but that also has to do something with this senior class just kinda being sub-par (no offense JHS seniors, atleast your hockey team is good)

Why would you stay? The game was over, why not beat the traffic. Hibbing would do a chant and later in the game Virginia would copy. They weren't there own chant. I think I recall 3 of your chants were original other than that it was nothing special. Plus Hibbing had nothing to chant about in the 3rd.

I think every chant hibbing did was either something saying westin was bad or else hhs. Virginia did not copy hibbing at all because they couldnt even hear them. virginia actually had some pretty funny stuff to say. I think the IRC chant by Virginia was the best and Singing nahh nah nah na hey hey hey goodbye was perfect too when all hibbings fans left. there was also more but i dont think i should say them on this board.

If Hibbing has such a good cheering section then why were they so quiet during the third period? They all left with 6 min left! Virginia fans stay until the horn sounds to support the team! Our Ad is one of the BEST in the state! HE works very hard all day to help our activities. He does what is right for the students in our school. What does the Hibbing AD do? say no inapproriate cheers. that lasts for a whole 2 seconds. Hibbing chanted he's a sophomore for their goalie. Then we had 6 GOALS SCORED BY SOPHOMORES! so we chanted another sophomore! and just a sophomore back at them! Oh and lets not forget the EVELETH"S BETTER chant! Im pretty sure that one was an original!

Yes they should be number one. If tgheir schedule is ranked 85 out of 156 that would put them at an average schedule about. People talk about them like they play bantam teams. They have won many games by blowouts. If they had a slip up and lost to one of those lower teams that would bew different. But as an undefeated team everyone one they play is gunnung for them and they still have come out on top. Oh, they have the all time leading scorer. That helps too. Little Falls has played some tough teams and still beat them.

In case you forgot STA lost to Duluth Marshall this year. They are down this year. I have heard excuses saying that it was the first game of the year but its still on the record. I dont care when they lost, they still lost. They also lost to Hill Murray after beating them by three the frist game. Sta is inconsistant

mayo uses the same chants every year.. so original

Why not leave, what is there to cheer for, I stayed till the final buzzer but what the heck trying to beat traffic. And North9 how old are you 10. All your chants were not inappropriate and there was nothing wrong with them. And the Eveleth chant,very clever I mean not that Hibbing pounded Eveleth or anything. You BlueDevils fans get on your high horse right now. Nothing else matters except who makes it to the X. Congrats, IRC woop dee doo! I'll take a state tourney over IRC any day of the week.

St Thomas Academy student section are as dry as popcorn farts and look retarded in their uniforms at the xcel...i loved when Hanowski scored last year and went to their student section and gave them a salute! pretty funny.

Easy to see why I think one of these two really is the worst.

I like Warroad's when they are at state. It reminds all the schools who changed their nicknames what they used to have.

Buffalo is pretty bad. Last year at the kiwanis tourney they copied Mayo's siv chant and one fan got thrown out.

Sitting right across from this last year and it was possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen. The slomo back and forth vertically was great. Sections 210 & 216 are great also.

that was one of the happiest moments of the tournament for me. and since i was sitting in the St. Thomas parent section it just make it even better.

As a founding father of the 210 at the X for state tourney, we are the best. Sit there if you hate private schools!!!
