Stillwater 4 WBL 2. Game was much closer than it should have been. WBL had a ton of penelty minutes, if stillwater had a strong powerplay; the margin of victory would have been much greater. If WBL could eliminate the penelty minutes and improve in the net they can definitely compete with anyone. unfortunately, this was probably one of the worst games I've seen all year.

The upsets continued tonight, making this a very difficult week for many of us:
Blake (1A) 3, Breck (2A) 4
White Bear Lake (11AA) 2, Stillwater (2AA) 4
Grand Rapids/Greenway (8AA) 4, Hopkins (2AA) 3
Only one of us (Joethehockeydad) expected Breck to beat Blake, and likewise only one (nothernewguy) saw GR/G upsetting Hopkins. This game and plenty of other previous great picks allowed nothernewguy to easily outclass the rest of us, winning by a whopping three points:
1. northernewguy - 12 points
2. Game Misconduct - 9
2. nmnhockeydad - 9
4. Joethehockeydad - 8
5. hockeyheaven - 6
5. DmanDad1980 - 6
7. MNHockeyFan - 5
8. joehockey - 4
9.-10. Two tied with 3 each
Look for the last regular season Big Games thread later this evening. Judging by what's been happening lately, also look for the recent upset trend to continue.

Did Centennial and Maple Grove Play last night? I could not find the score anywhere does somebody know the final?
Was that for the conference title?

Without the Maple Gove-Centennial score (assuming they did play as scheduled on Saturday), we now have a three-way tie for first place:
1. hockeyrube7 - 11 points
1. DmanDad1980 - 11 points
1. nothernguy - 11 points
4. hockeyheaven - 8
4. Knight7 - 8
4. Bensonmum - 8
4. nothernguy - 8
8. joehockey - 7
8. Joethehockeydad - 7
10-11. Two tied with 6
12. One with 5
In the event Maple Grove and Centennial did not play yesterday, then the BSM-Hill Murray game on Tuesday will determine who is this week's winner.
EDIT: Ooops, this update posted earlier today should have been added under the "Final Big Games" thread.
