Hill's team may be a little distracted in this one from the recent news so i have to pick the other way
AHA 4
Hill 2
If Hill does manage to win this one, as far as rankings are concerned it's been one messed up year lol

hill Murray JV won 4-2 with an empty net and the people on varsity that were on JV are Kevin Becker, Loren french, John Phillippi, and Kevin Schulze, not sure if there all perminitaly on varsity but for now they are. hill's JV is not at a loss.

Unfortunately missed the game but sounds like it must have been a pretty good one. Having a shot advantage doesn't tell everything but it sure gives an idea as to how the game was.

The shots and score do not tell the story. AHA was in control 95% of the time. When John Haeg had the puck it took three Hill players to wrestle away the puck. Mattson was excellent, and the rest of the team was very good. Burke in goal played great. One of Hill's goals was batted in with a hand. AHA had all but two of the penalties. I would say that the shots do not say what the game was.
Move from JV to Varsity

Interesting move from JV to Varsity it looked as though Kevin Schulze was ready and blended in, but it doesn't look as though the younger Phillipi is ready for the move, but then again who did they have to pick from.

Everyone and their mother knows the schulze kid is ready it seems, I never heard of him. Wonder why phillippi continued to get ice. Everytime he touches the puck its handed to the other team, must be the location of his house, NOT ready.
Got it right though, 5-3 AHA. Though sources say it was over at about 4-0 and shots were tied about 22 each, hmmmm maybe some one else isn't ready. A few hill fans were grumbling about the goalie not giving them a chance to win cause "everyone has him figured out".
A scout told me that Mattson and a few others all but quit skating with a few minutes left and they were up 5-1 and thats' when hill started putting the puck in, an AHA penalty helped too but they didn't have enough time.

Phillippi is normally a defenseman and the kept throwing him out as a forwrad.
