Yeah, I had never heard of him, but he is certainly a frosh of influence.ROSCOE wrote:Austyn Young has decent size, although he needs to bulk up a little, great hands, and a quick release. His skating is smooth. Hockey is in the blood. His father John, was i believe allstate in high school, and skated four years at Michigan Tech, and his older sister Ashley was all everything for 5 years at So ST paul and is currently a senior at Minnesota state
Is this the son of former Packer John Young?Teak wrote:Austyn Young Hat Trick|

Umm. Sorry. Zach Adams is a sophomore. He wears No. 5.
No. 6 for New Prague is an eighth grader.
Someone read the roster wrong.
In the Schwan Cup Horn is beginning to shine. He had the game-winning goal in OT in their first game, and just now scored a beautiful break-away goal in their 4-1 win over Cretin DH. I was surprised by his size: he has D1 written all over himself. Let's hope he stays in high school and doesn't jump to Junior hockey. No need to.MNhockey99 wrote:Horn and Horton from Benilde are both VERY good players. I have been able to watch them 2 times so far this year and I was really impressed.
You are right on about Horn. He is allready one of Benilde's top players. I was lambasted by some guy for claiming that Jake Horton was one of Wayzata'a top players on their Bantam "A" team last year in an earlier post on BSM hockey but Horton is proving me right with his play this year at Benilde. He is improving each game and has great poise for a freshman. Wayzata will get to see what they are missing come Thursday.Teak wrote:In the Schwan Cup Horn is beginning to shine.
